Can you imagine that photo on the White House Christmas card?

While your thinking my comments through < /sarcasm>

After I injured my back in my last parachute jump on active duty I gained almost 150 pounds while sedate, in pain till I got surgery.

I lost it, back down to fighting weight now....... One can choose too loose as I did, but cancer chooses who loses.

Sympathy for those with medical conditions that can be cured. No sympathy for those who choose too suffer and whine about it.

Honestly, no, I can't. But, then again, I can't imagine Billy Jeff running rampant in the White House again, either, so what do I know?

I'm on Lipitor and Hyzar - I can eat bacon cheeseburgers with impunity.

I guess I knew that people have figured it out. I was just waiting for the press to let it out.

How much more do the healthy people pay in taxes over a lifetime?

The title is misleading. They cost the system less ‘cause they don’t live as long. But the treatments they do get while they’re alive are, no doubt, very expensive.

"It was a small surprise," said Pieter van Baal, an economist at the Netherlands' National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, who led the study. "But it also makes sense. If you live longer, then you cost the health system more."

Right... Once you're not paying income tax, you're supposed to die like a good citizen.

Yep, under government health care, the logical conclusion is that once someone uses a certain amount of health care, they get euthanized.

Thank you, it looks absolutely yummy. My food-nazi-liberal husband says this is poison for me and that I should eat something healthier like sashimi but you could not pay me enough money to eat that crap./Just Asking - soeul62........
