By HILLARY CLINTON February 4, 2008; Page A15
Throughout my campaign, I have been listening to the voices of people across America. I met one man who told me, "I don't know what I did wrong. I got my education and I worked hard. I've been at the same company for 12 years now, but I've just been asked to train my successor because my job is moving to another country."
Another woman said to me, "I just can't make ends meet. My health care premiums have doubled, college tuition is up. How am I supposed to make it as a single mom?"
I am running for president to bring those voices to the White House and give people a chance to achieve the American Dream: having a good job, owning their own home and living with financial security. That means tackling our toughest challenges -- rising inequality, stagnating wages and a growing sense that too many middle class families are just one pink slip away from financial devastation.
My measure of economic success will never be a single, dry statistic. Rather, success means an economy that allows those at the bottom to work their way into the middle class, without pushing anyone out. It means leaving people better off when I finish than when I start. In short, success means an economy that shares its prosperity with all.

One for me, one for you.
Two for me, one for you.
Three for me, one for you.
That’s how Hillary will share.
No, the JOB was moving to another country. I can tell you how you train someone in another country to take over your job, because I had to do it, too. It’s called NetMeeting and teleconferences. It’s still a VERY sore point with me, because I lost my job with a company that I’d been at for 28-1/2 years to outsourcing. This was after a number of raises, transfers, and promotions, taking progressively more responsibility. I was pretty close to earning full retirement benefits when they laid me off, too.
And they ended up hiring me back, if you have questions about my performance being a factor in their decision.
“Shared prosperity” is code for creeping socialism.
Why did she publish it in the WSJ? To persuade its readers?Unlikely. To persuade the sheep via the TV talking heads this evening, who will cite it as if the Journal, that is to say the voice of the business community, has endorsed such drivel.
And the beat goes on,,
And of couse the question is, who wrote it? Mamma’s boy Sid? (Probably.) Has Hitlery even read it?
“Shared prosperity is code for creeping socialism.”
There ain’t nothing “creeping” about it, it’s full blown communism.
Do a favor for your kid's, change your liberal attitude, and get married to a conservative minded fellow.
I think that a big bank that is moving a call center to the Pillipines is also sending employees to get things started over there, training and all.
Hope that clears the question up some for you.
This needs to be talked about. The global economy, outsourcing, jobs going overseas, free trade agreements, etc. ALL of these were happening when Bill was president. All of these trends were in place by the time Bill became president. So, if she’s so keen on having government do something about these things now, where in the heck was she then? Heck even global warming, which she promised to discuss in her inaugural address, was the subject of the Kyoto conference in 1997. Neither her husband or Al Gore did anything then to try to get us to ratify that treaty.
Hillary will establish a ‘National Wage’.
Whether your gross income is $2,000,000 or $20,000 everybody will take home $50,000.
If your net income is less than $50K, you’ll receive an “income credit”.
If your net income is greater than $50K, your “excess income will be taxed.
Then you’ll be expected to pay for her ‘National Health Care’ from your “net income”.
Just for good measure “Homeschooling families” will be shot at sunrise.
Thus communism not personal freedom.
The thought of Herr Heinous being the most powerful person in the world is scary to say the least....
Hey, the soloution is simple. Move in with the Clintons. I get dibs on the upstairs bedroom.
We then can share in their prosperity, Bill is loaded now. Anybody want to move in with Gore?
“How is it possible to train the successor for your job, when the company is leaving the country for cheaper labor?”
I trained my successors, they were all from Brazil.
Prepare for Socialism
Repeal the 19th Amendment
As long as Utopia is achieved, could it be that bad?
One may have to use a wheel borrow to tote the money to buy a wheel borrow to tote the money needed to achieve Utopia, but what the hay?
It's the price one pays for happiness and personal contentment. /s
Even the poorest bloke in the nation should be smart enough not to vote for this crazy b*. If he should ever hit paydirt, guess where his earnings will go to.
