Dutch provocation (Offended muslims Barf alert)
http://thepost.com.pk/ ^

As this group’s television channel, ‘Channel Five’, revealed Geert Wilders of a radical political party from Holland is campaigning hard to promote his film against Islam. The film has scenes that militate against Islam and could hurt Muslim sensibilities as a result. Geert Wilders is only widening the wedge between the Muslim world and the West. He has happily pounced on the freedom of speech bandwagon to justify his act of insulting Islam and lending his support to any individual who says anything against Islam. He even has the audacity to criticise those videos on the internet that depict him as an extremist and an individual who promotes hatred between the Muslims and the West. There is a famous saying that every time you point a finger at anyone there are three pointing back at you. Hence Geert Wilders needs to realise that whenever he goes on ranting about how Muslims are extremists and terrorists, he himself is acting like one and his words are definitely causing as much, if not more damage, than the so-called extremists he is supposedly fighting against.

The mischief in Holland follows a pattern of maligning Islam in Europe. The European Union (EU) needs to keep checks on statements and acts such as the knighting of Salman Rushdie for a piece of literature whose only purpose is to malign the religion of Islam. To add salt to injury, the Western governments, especially the United Kingdom, had the nerve to ask Iran to withdraw the fatwa given by Ayatollah Khomeini against Rushdie. The ‘veil controversy’ in the UK and France, making it illegal for Muslim women to wear the hijab, is another example. Imposing a curb on the plea that this is meant to liberate these women from oppression that is imposed on them by Islam is absurd. In doing so, these governments are not allowing women in these countries the freedom to practice their own religion. This somehow seems very similar to the situation in Afghanistan when the Taliban were ruling the country and using oppression as a means of governance.

Further instigation can be found in the cartoons drawn by an artist from Denmark. As if the whole saga was not inconsiderate to Muslim sentiment, the Royal Museum of Denmark wants to preserve the cartoons for future generations of the country because the cartoons have created ‘history’ in Denmark.

The problem does not lie in extremism in the Muslim world or the West, but actually in the failure of the Western countries in integrating third generation Muslim immigrants. The riots in France over lack of job opportunities for immigrant workers are well documented, and the racial profiling of Muslims all over the EU after September 11 has left Muslims feeling insecure as a consequence of the actions of a few misinformed extremists. The majority of individuals taken to prison under the terrorist act have been set free due to a lack of any substantial evidence, which shows the malice behind these arrests.

The statements coming out of Europe, however, are not only very positive for every Muslim living in Europe but also for all Muslims across the globe. The stance taken by the prime minister of Holland and the Luxembourg justice minister against the misuse of freedom of speech for promoting hatred of one’s religion is welcome. This is the way extremists like Wilders should be dealt with.

That must be a pretty big band wagon he just pounced on.

What a self-loathing jerk-head editorial. Now they want to silence critics of the Islamic extremists. It’s always the West that causes the nice, simple Muslims to be evil. So, we have to shut up and accept what they want. I want to puke.

More damage!!!!

Speaking your mind, and frankly the truth in this case, does not make you a terrorist. And how could it cause more damage than the damage that has been done in Europe and the Netherlands by muslim extremists?

Whoever wrote this is a liberal fool.

Hyperbole (pronounced /haɪˈpɝbəli/ or "hy-PER-buh-lee"; "HY-per-bowl" is a mispronunciation) is a figure of speech in which statements are exaggerated. It may be used to evoke strong feelings or to create a strong impression, and is not meant to be taken literally.

Since I would never accuse such an obviously truthful individual as this writer of engaging in hyperbole, Where are the thousands of dead Muslims, murdered by Geert Wilders?

The same idiots who advocate for the “freedom of speech” of terrorist-supporting imams in Europe to have a platform to spew their hatred and approval of violence against the native citizens of the countries that the muzzies infiltrate.

Hmmm, loading up to Down's Syndrome women with exposives, sending them into a market with hundreds of people, blowing up the explosives and taking almost 100 people into death, DOES NOT insult Muslim sensitivities. Does not broaded the divide between Muslims and the West and does not arouse Muslims to feel insulted.

However, a ten minute film critical of Islam is a huge insult. Who needs to know more about Muslims and Islam? I don't.

I did some quick checking, and I don’t find any reference to Mr. Wilders participating in any disturbance, riot, senseless bombing, or the murder of innocents that could be related to any anti-Islam activities. I found nothing implicating Mr. Wilders in the tens of thousands of deaths recently attributable to muzzie automatons on orders from their pedophile prophet.

This writer is spouting the Muslim party line...any affront to Islam is not to be tolerated, while any Muzzie affront to others is acceptable.

Sorry, this one is wearing thin. The author’s claim that “the failure of the Western countries in integrating third generation Muslim immigrants” is the reason for Muzzie unrest is purely crap. Rightly and properly, those people who choose to immigrate should expect to live under the laws and mores of the host country; not have their home country’s laws imported with them. If they don’t like it, they have the right to leave.

Islam is a cult. There is no negotiating with Islam. There are only three choices, in their way of thinking: Convert the infidel, enslave the infidel, kill the infidel. Not too much room for compromise in that slate of choices.

This clash of cultures has been ongoing for over 1400 years. It will not stop until Islam is utterly defeated, eradicated from the earth, or it wins and the world is plunged, once again, into the seventh century mindset espoused by the clerics, the imams who will rule the theocracy.

I’ve made my choice. How about you?

Lock and Load.

"I'm rubber, you're glue, everything you say..."

It's not hyperbole (which I can at last pronounce properly) - it's a grade school tantrum.

What he hell, we gave them Kosovo - think they'd shut up if NATO tossed in a couple of other countries as well? (By this time there is probably a fatwa against electricity and bathing in warm water so dhimmitude would probably cut their carbon footprint down considerably.)

This movement of political correctness does nothing but engender a false sense of victimhood among those who are typically the victimizers. This is most pointedly true among the Islamists who blame everyone but themselves when they riot, rape and murder others in the name of their "religion."

We can no longer afford to allow this madness to continue. It's time the Islamic communities of the world be held to the same standard as the Christian communities. If Christians were to commit even a fraction of the atrocities that Muslims to, there'd be cardiacs and strokes across the halls of the United Nations. But when Muslims commit their crimes against humanity, there's nothing but excuses.

This can no longer stand. It's time Muslims either take responsibility for their conduct or be compelled to face the consequences by an opponent that has long since run out of patience with their fascist petulance.

Let me get this right:

1. Muslims cut the heads off people who say “bad things” about Allah.

2. Geert Wilders says Muslims are extremists.

3. Muslims will be offended by this.

4. Geert Wilders should stop saying this or Muslims will cut off more people’s heads.

5. Geert Wilders is the problem?

What am I missing here?

There is an Islamic Supremacist ideology even among the so called “moderate” muslims. Islamic law sees to several different types of individuals, each with different rights and freedoms based on their religions.

Male muslims are at the top of the society.
Then muslim women.
Then non-mulsims (kufir) which are broken down into Christians/Jews (people OF the book) and every other religion (Hindu, Buddism, Pagan, Scientologist, Satanist, Atheism, etc.)
and then VERY bottom are those who left Islam (because they were once “right”).

There are death penalties for non-muslims who enter some of the cities of Islam, including the capitali of the Islamic Empire. You know, the one that every muslim, moderate or extremist bows to every day without speaking out against the human rights injustices of Saudi Arabia?

It is an intolerant supremacist ideology that uses the language of the west to deflect criticism by playing the victim. It’s like saying that it’s wrong to pick of Robert KKK Recruiter Byrd because “he’s an OLLLLLLLLD man”. A bigot is a bigot. And Byrd still uses the N-word proudly by claiming that it is “ok” because there are white n*ggers too.
