Clinton says yes to garnishing paychecks
1/3/08 | self

Posted on 02/03/2008 7:30:48 AM PST by DogandPonyShow

This morning on "This Week" on ABC, she was pressed about garnishing wages (to pay for her Health Insurance program) and dodged it a few times before saying,

"George, there will be an enforcement mechanism, whether it is that or something else."

So she is open to the idea of garnishing wages. Her words.

Go ahead Conservatives, stay home or vote 3rd party. Please let us know who you are afterwords. We will really want to know who you are.

"Yep, about 10k per year for a family of four, as I estimate it....Of course it will increase..."

Not only will it be mandatory and expensive....

.....it will only take care of those are healthy or illegal.

Actions speak louder than words. Be prepared to be reminded of what you did to us and America on a daily basis.

Except when coming from you. you seem to make a lot of veiled threats on the forum.

By the way, you never really responded to my question posed regarding the validity of this thread without using derogatory comments. And yes, I question the valididty of YOU.
Do you have a link to that or are you just using scare tactics today to implore FReepers to vote for McCain? The comments you were making on the thread which is asking a justifiable question, Are You Willing To Compromise & Surrender What Our Founding Fathers Set Forth For This Republic?, telling others that the primaries are over, vote for McCain, etc are fitting to the original question posed there.

It is going to be an eye opener for conservatives who think staying home or voting 3rd Party will somehow TEACH the GOP a lesson.

If either of the two Socialist Democrats become POTUS, the country will be changed forever if NOTHING more happens than the appointment of TWO Supreme Court Justices.

I pray after all is said and done that those people wake up and hold their nose and grudgingly vote for either Romney or McCain.

Without trying to slice the bologna to thin, there would be no difference in the Hillary Tax and Fica, SS, Medicare taxes.

Is there some sort of point you are trying to make there null and void?

I bet Hillary is considering making the offer, but I doubt she'd be able to stomach being second fiddle to a president Obama.

I am no big McCain fan, but: isn’t McCain pro-life while Clinton is not? Doesn’t McCain favor the surge and our war in Iraq, while Clinton does not? Aren’t those differences?

Yes sir. Back in post #7 you said it was 'Unbelievable' that they (The Hildabeast) would take money away from your paycheck to fund a mandatory pet program.

I was merely pointing out that not only is it believable, but that there are abundant precedents to enable it.

It is going to be an eye opener...

Have you seen the myriad of incremental things that's been happening under the almost 8 years of this GOP watch?

Unbeliebale in the sense that Hilde and Crew think we are not paying enough in taxes anyway.

And, this is supposed to be managed by employers, I believe they are the ones who bare the burden of implementing this stuff.

I don't.

As I've been saying for many years, I'm worried about VICE President Hillary!™ Clinton.
Think of it:

• Two years and one day into her term the first slotter gets arkincided
• Under Article XXII, she can still run for two full terms as the incumbent
• The Hillary!™ Decade begins
• Hillary uses the Patriot Act to it's fullest extent, and beyond
• At the end of the Hillary!™ Decade there is a National Emergency "temporarily" delaying the elections
• Under the pressure of the National Emergency, the 2nd and 22nd amendments are repealed
• By the time the National Emergency is over all the 'improved' source code for the touch screen electronic balloting will be in place......

Just as an aside, with the Clinton's well known love of minorities - Barak Hussein Obama is VERY expendable, isn't he?

Ah.

As long as we take home any money to spend as we wish, we are not being taxed quite enough for that crowd.

One of the many ominous signs is the latest TIME magazine, with McCain smiling Presidentially on its cover. "The Phoenix", says the headline, "Can McCain Keep Rising?".

I subscribed to TIME magazine for several years, and one thing I learned is that TIME never puts a Republican on its cover with a flattering photo unless that is the person they desperately want for something. I haven't read the commentaries yet, but I'm sure it's something along the lines of "Can he bring America together? Can he get the independent votes?".

Then of course we have the NYT and LAT endorsing McCain. Plenty of Dem strategists saying that McCain will be able to "reach across the aisle" and get things done.

I have to think about these fine American institutions in the light of the fact that they will accept none other than a Democratic victory. There is no "repuke" they would ever consider even damning with faint praise.

Given that, it is logical to assume that they still expect and demand a Democratic victory. McCain seems to be vital to their hopes. They don't want to work with McCain, they want to work with Hillary.

I'll have to think long and hard about it before I go in the voting booth. There is strategery afoot, and something stinks.

• The Hillary!™ Decade begins

Man what a scary thought.

I know she's conniving, and while I have no facts my gut tells me she feels so close to the ring, nothing short of complete power will satisfy her tastes (other than embalming fluid maybe).

Off subect: I believe stupidity should hurt.

I'm using that line pal!

Look, the republican party has taken a sharp left turn.
I've always voted the straight Republican ticket since the seventies, though I was a registered Independent.
I registered Republican when Reagan ran and was proud of it.
My pride has turned to disgust as year by year the lefties have taken over the party
with their agenda.

If my attitude is taken as defeatist, I'm sorry, but in my opinion, when you have nothing
to choose from but a field of liberals, the ballgame's already over.

If one's considered a traitor to conservatism to not support the least liberal candidate, so be it.
