Clinton says yes to garnishing paychecks
1/3/08 | self

Posted on 02/03/2008 7:30:48 AM PST by DogandPonyShow

This morning on "This Week" on ABC, she was pressed about garnishing wages (to pay for her Health Insurance program) and dodged it a few times before saying,

"George, there will be an enforcement mechanism, whether it is that or something else."

So she is open to the idea of garnishing wages. Her words.

Go ahead Conservatives, stay home or vote 3rd party. Please let us know who you are afterwords. We will really want to know who you are.

Two questions for you:

1. What was your previous screenname?
2. Is it just too boring for you over at Wideawakes?

I am right with you on this, but I am becoming increasingly worried that McCain is just being set up as a fall guy for a Hillary victory anyway.

It doesn't make for any easy choices. On the bright side, it's Super Sunday, Spring is coming and I start a new job tomorrow.

Maybe we will be assimilated by Cthulhu in November. I only have one vote to contribute. I think I'm going out for more shrimp.

How about we elect no one and go without a President for 4 years or so? Better than the alternatives. :-)

That, sir is precisely why there is no "None of the above" slot on the ballot. (It can be written in, though)...

Can you write in “none of the above” on a Diebold machine?

"And how far behind is McCain on this? McCain is no friend of free market capitalism, and seems to be on the same page as the democrats in attacking US corporations and businesses."

I guess staying informed is not on your to-do list. Healthcare is not on McCain's to-do list, he wants to leave it alone. His focus is on national security.

That’s who the hell I am!!

No, what you are is just another dime-a-dozen "I'll crawl over broken glass for the chance to polish a turd" drone. So don't get the bighead.  ;)

If either McCain or Romney is the choice then yes, I will not be voting for either but will write in my candidate.

And I am not worried about Clinton. She can try to pass her pet proposals but let’s see her try and get them through Congress. With her in office I see 2010 as 1994 and 2012 as 2000.

I will not reward McCain or Romney with an anti-Hillary vote.

In 2000 and 2004, the choices were clear, a decent man, Christian, conservative on taxes and pro-military versus a Clinton surrogate and a betrayer. GW Bush did not lose his base until 2006 when it became clear his spending policies were wrong and that he failed to secure the borders and supported border hopping lawbreakers.

But the choice in 2008 is between GOP backstabbing liars and more of the Clintons or the inexperience of Obama.

That is no choice for President. The only choice then is Congress.

1994 Redux coming.

Hillary is female, and McCain is male.

They both like girls, though...
