Bennett has last week been so downright nasty to the callers who criticize McCain that it’s having a seriously negative impact on his previously very good show.

No that is not the reason we are in the mess we are right now.

Who are you planning to vote for? Obama or Hillary? Because if you stay home and don’t vote, or write in someone, then you have made your choice.

Hillary is giving her stump speech on CNN. She is in Bridgeton, MO, which is way too close to me.

She says she will begin to bring troops home from Iraq withing 60 days. Says she’s been pushing the Pentagon to develop a plan for withdrawal but they don’t want to do it because Bush is in the White House.

She points at her head and says “We can’t see the brain injury.” LOL. I laughed out loud.

If there is a brokered convention, McCain will be the nominee. He is the choice of the Party Establishment. They actually are dumb enough to believe that polling data, 9 months before an election, can determine which candidate can win.

9 months ago Rudy G was the only one who could beat Hillary in all the national polls. Where is he now?

And we are dumb enough to elect barely functional state officials who decide to hold primaries 9 months before the election. When Illinois was deciding to move this primary up to Feb 5, the noise from the pros was that this would make Illinois important again.

Well, O'Hare is probably where people are changing planes when they connect to California or Minnesota of Missouri or New York or ......

But there are no hotly contested races in Illinois, no national candidates making stops (except Barack Obama whhen he can't get the direct deposit thingy worked out with Tony Rzeko.)

Watching Clinton’s eyes, she would make Lady MacBeth cringe in fear.

Lady MacBeth committed guilty suicide; Hillary doesn't have an internal compass that would make her feel guilty about anything.

McCain a 10% Conservative is our enemy no matter what party label he decides to wear.

The 10% doesn't agree with his overall voting record; let's just say he is not a "clutch" conservative; he doesn't come through when it counts.

Now I’m listening to Obama in WIlmington. I cannot believe how terrible life is in these United States. People are just leading miserable lives. It’s awful.

Well if you want to compare McCain’s life time ranking instead of looking at the last 10 years, YES, you are correct.

Now I have McCain in Fiarfield, Conn. He sounds angry. Lindsay Graham is attached firmly to his left hip. He has a pen that Ronald Reagan gave him years ago and he will veto everything with it.

Joe Liberman is there as well. I didn’t realize how much Hadassah Lieberman looks like Medea Benjamin.

LOL. Hillary says the Republicans have raided Social Security and are trying to destroy it, it’s not really in any trouble, but when she is president, we can all just sit down calmly and solve the problem.

She has caused at least two people to pass out. LOL.

Thanks for the thread as usual AB!

Afternoon I hate to have missed so much of this thread but we went o K.W. last night and are just getting home.

I'm now formatting a plan to deal with the Pubbie RINO's in FLA, from Crispy Crist on down, who have created this debacle. IMHO they need to be sent a message in no uncertain terms.

Hillary Clinton holds grudges and has anger issues. Beware of smiling faces! This lady is a phoney.

Who are you planning to vote for?

No votes from me for Barry or Hillary...I guess Machiavelli would be disappointed with me. Whatever, baring a miracle, a Liberal will be elected POTUS in Nov., regardless of the political party in which he/she claims membership.

IMHO, this election, after Hunter's and Fred's departures, has become just a matter of sorting through which nominee will do the least damage to the nation. And this is a very bleak prospect.

I will vote for Romney, after much reflection, should he be the nominee. I'm certain that my decision on McCain, should he win the nomination, will not be forthcoming until I enter the voting booth in Nov.. But all of this is merely marking time. After the election, I will face what is now, for me, the most pressing of all considerations: Whether to break away to another party or continue to face the death of a thousand cuts that the GOP has become since 1988?

Happy Super Bowl Sunday, everyone...
