~EXCERPT~
LEGACY? What legacy?
There was general amazement when (the now-muzzled) Bill Clinton did his red-faced, attack-dog, race-baiting performance in South Carolina.
Friends, Democrats and longtime media sycophants were variously perplexed, repulsed, enraged, mystified and shocked that this beloved ex-President would so jeopardize his legacy by stooping so low.
What they don't understand is that for Clinton, there is no legacy.
What he was doing on the low road from Iowa to South Carolina was fighting for a legacy -- a legacy that he knows history has denied him and that he has but one chance to redeem.
Clinton is a narcissist but also smart and analytic enough to distinguish adulation from achievement. Among Democrats, he is popular for twice giving them the White House, something no Democrat has done since FDR. And the bouquets he receives abroad are simply signs of the respect routinely given ex-Presidents, though Clinton earns an extra dollop of fawning, with the accompanying fringe benefits, because he is (a) charming and (b) not George W. Bush.
But Clinton knows this is all written on sand. It is the stuff of celebrity. What gnaws at him is the verdict of history. What clearly enraged him more than anything this primary season was Barack Obama's statement that "Ronald Reagan changed the trajectory of America in a way that . . . Bill Clinton did not." The Clintons tried to use this against Obama by charging him with harboring secret Republican sympathies. It was a stupid charge that elicited only scorn. And not just because Obama is no Reaganite, but because Obama's assessment is so obviously true: Reagan was consequential.

For boy Clinton to do something about his lack of a legacy he would need two things: The Presidency and the Balls to Lead.
When he had the presidency he lacked the balls. Since men his age don’t grow them he can’t really be serious about Leading. He’s acting on rage, he doesn’t really want to win We KNOW he couldn’t do the right thing if he did win.
Bill has a legacy. It’s blue and has his DNA on it.
He has a legacy: He made the present war on terrorism necessary. He proved once and for all that sexual harassment litigation really IS about power, not sex. He lied about the sex part, and got to keep his power regardless. He also became the first black president...ever to be called a racist. He gave illegal aliens with criminal records their citizenship. He passed welfare reform, in spite of promising to support it. A president Barak Hussein Obama may be his true legacy, unless by some miracle the voters go for a Republican once more. He made the world safe for foreign campaign contributions. He beat more concessions out of Israel than any other president before him, although Dubya might have gotten more since. The thriving democracy of Ghaza is testimony to the wisdom of this policy. Back when he was President, Al Gore had to shut up for almost eight years straight. Al Gore’s failed presidential bid failed because of him...though Al Gore helped. He lost Congress to the Republicans. He lost NYC to Giuliani. If he hadn’t beeen campaigning for him, David Dinkins might have won a second term. He had his henchmen harass and slander Linda Tripp, and got half the Republican security clearance files into alphabetical order. He saved us all from Ken Starr. Now if that isn’t a legacy, what is?
An excellent article! I printed it out as a keeper - he’s got WJC down in every word he’s written here.
I wonder how she’d react as President to wearing the cuckold’s horns. Clap him in irons?

No doubt.
Maybe his legacy will in the final chapter be: the guy who on his death bed was still trying to bullsh*t everybody that he had one.
Good read. As Rush says, “Right on, Right on”.
What they don't understand is that for Clinton, there is no legacy.

Here is the legacy that the Clinton's are creating. History does repeat itself as proven by a simple child's rhyme from history:
B.J. Clinton sat on a wall
B.J. Clinton had a great fall
All the king's horses and all the kings men
Couldn't put B.J. (and his wife) together again!
Clinton is sure making some big money deals
he could be our first billionaire ex President from his inlfuence peddling
amazing.....and the complicit media says nothing
I wonder how shed react as President to wearing the cuckolds horns. Clap him in irons?...
...almost certainly we’ll get the opportunity to see how she’d react...I believe the prize is hers to lose, just like the Super Bowl is the Patriot’s to fumble away...
An excerpt from Clinton’s final State of the Union message: “Never before has our Nation enjoyed, at once, so much prosperity and social progress with so little internal crisis and SO FEW EXTERNAL THREATS. Never before have we had such a blessed opportunity and, therefore, such a profound obligation to build the more perfect Union of our Founders dreams.”
9/11 is Bill’s legacy. He chose to ignore the threats.
Well yes there is a legacy. Abject failure as a President is a legacy.
Bill Clinton's legacy is one of eight years of criminal negligence and denial of reality and dismissing the growth of a worldwide terrorist organization that resulted in the deaths of 3000 innocent men, women and children.
That is his legacy and it will never change. For eight years, Bill Clinton was responsible for the defense of this country and the safety of its citizens and he refused to take on that responsibility because in the alternate world of the liberal democrat, the only bad people in the world are religious conservatives.
Bill Clinton played a huge part in the Islamic slaughter of 3000 Americans. And no matter what he does or says, he can never escape that fact.

Bill clinton already has a legacy - fraud, liar, toady, con-man, leftist scum - he just doesn’t like it.
Maybe bill could jump into a volcano and stop global warming. Now that’s legacy. He could call his quest: Vaulting for virgins.
