Oh yes the land of the free and the home of the brave.
What happened to the America I once knew?

It dies every time legislators meet. They don't pass laws reducing government control, they increase it. Land of the free is becoming the nanny state.

Gone With The Wind. And frankly my dear, too many people just don't give a damn.

"What happened to the America I once knew?" It left with B & W tv. (Think about it.)

"What happened to the America I once knew?"

Right about now it is walking home, to read books recommended by Oprah, while shaking off nicotine cravings and eating bon-bons/ice cream/Frito's/overly sweetened yogurt, and text messaging people who were allowed into the neighborhood restaurant (to hear what the forbidden special might be).

Tomorrow it might go for a bicycle ride, do origami, or make posters for Sunday's protest.

By Sunday, it will be in a fetal position, asking the same question that prompted this reply.

sold out by a bunch of free-loading DummycRATS and I don't mean welfare people. Professional politicians should be shot...several times and in painful places...head shots won't do it any more. Harry Reid for car crash dummy replacements.

I don't know how old you are, but the America I knew and loved disappeared in the middle 1960s. Cultural Marxism has only intensified since then. I think things can't get any crazier but they do, daily.

There were crazy people back then, too. We just didn't elect as many of them back then.

One of the things we’re most proud about is that we tell people what they can and can’t put in their bodies. Hell, we revel in it. Just ask the DEA.
