I watched her last night too, I thought that Hussein Obama laid down like a puppy dog for her, but that focus group dude said everyone though Hussein won, who’s to figure.

Maybe it was just that she's so unlikable. She wouldn't shut up! At least Obama comes off as somewhat normal.

"Here is one optimist's reason for believing unity will prevail over disunity, integration over disintegration. In fact, I'll bet that within the next hundred years (I'm giving the world time for setbacks and myself time to be out of the betting game, just in case I lose this one), nationhood as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority. A phrase briefly fashionable in the mid-20th century--"citizen of the world"--will have assumed real meaning by the end of the 21st century.

Strobe Talbot wrote this in an article published in Time Magazine in July 1992

Nelson Strobridge Talbott III

You couldn't dream up a better example of a prissy preppie elitist snob liberal name, complete with the nickname "Strobe"--the kind of cutesie thing preppies love. And no satire writer could dream up a better example of the pompous crap which emerges from an Ivy League "liberal arts" education than Strobie's Time text, with its dropping of famous names like Dante, Erasmus, Einstein, Gandhi, Toynbee, and Camus. Ronald Reagan, who went to some un-elite school I can't even remember, was wiser than all the dimly flickering "Strobe-lites" who ever graduated from the Ivy League and Oxbridge.

So basically Talbott was a village idiot?

Wasn't it Hillary that said "it takes a village to raise an idiot"?

Strobe Talbot, Alger Hiss all funny named blue blood traitors. Oh, I forgot ...and liberals.

McCarthy was right, but the medium destroyed the message.

And, the State Dept. is still full of them!

[That is, when you remember that his father, Sen. Al Gore, Sr. was a protege of Armand Hammer, Stalin’s right hand American who was the point man for trade between America and Russia beginning in the 1920s and through WW2. Actually more like a bought and paid for politician owned by Armand Hammer.

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

The Gore-Russia connection is not farfetched at all.]

"In his three-volume set, Western Technology and Soviet Economic Development, Antony Sutton documented the fact that Russian communism has been financed by Western banks and Western corporations since its inception.[105] In his book, Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution, he documented the fact that Rockefeller and Morgan banks provided the Bolsheviks with loans, while American industry provided them with the plants and the technology they needed.  Westinghouse, Henry Ford, Averill Harriman, Armand Hammer, Exxon, and other American firms built the infrastructure that allowed the Soviet Union to survive."

>>”William Walker, of bogus Racak Massacre fame, is a spook...”

Different Walker. The book is about a low rent Navy crypto clerk (and family and friends who he recruited) who sold the Soviets codes and info on coding/decoding machines.

Vietnam era... I wonder how many soldiers died, because of this perfidious creep.

Just curious as to what you two think it WILL take to make the GOP take it’s supporters seriously and actually nominate someone who is NOT a weevil!

I think you are on the right track. It’s not just about what Hillary is about vs. a Rep nominee. It’s about the completely discredited morons (e.g., Strobe Talbott) that are lurking in the shadows for Dem administration positions.

As much as I love Ann Coulter, I think she is very shortsighted to make a simple comparison between the anti-conservative MCain and the communist Clinton. Think about how many people the POTUS puts in important policy positions. If McLame is only marginally better than PIAPS, multiple that by the number of appointments that the POTUS makes.

I despise McCain on many levels, but I will vote for him if he is the nominee. The last martyr who made a real difference was Jesus Christ. Get the picture?

The same GOP that received a big chunk of the 20 million dollars handed out by the king of sub-prime AKA the current Ambassador to the Netherlands...

that GOP?

A Republic is characterized by the rule of Law.  What we have now is an Oligarchy.

Fix that, and then the GOP's supporters MIGHT start taking the GOP seriously again.

Nice revision.

The GOP gave the finger to the troops and to conservatives. If the GOP wants to get elected by conservatives then they should start acting like conservatives.

It's not the voters fault that the politicians are RINOs.

Other than he is proabortion, ok with homosexual marriage, and a new convert to the NRA, he is a great conservative.

Under normal circumstances most Democratic nominees for President could not have gotten a Top Security clearance, I believe.

Hillary has the Saul Alinsky thing and close association with others like Talbot of questionable loyalty.
Kerry had connections with Communists in the anti-war movement
Clinton had a suspicious trip to Russia and questionable behavior in regards to draft and anti-war activity in England.
Gore and his family were closely connected to Armand Hammer a long time Soviet Agent.
McGovern’s people were in contact with North Vietnamese and encouraging them to not negotiate with Nixon but wait for a better deal from McGovern.
