But Steven, it’s not going to happen so we need a plan B.

New Romney endorsement to add to the list of formal endorsements from conservative quasi-celebrities/pundits that now includes:

Rick Santorum (you know I love him)
Laura Ingraham
Sean Hannity
Ann Coulter
Mark Levin
Lars Larson
Glenn Beck
Michael Savage (yeah, I know, but we'll take him for now)

It would be very cool if the Romney campaign made a campaign advertisement that included a few seconds of soundbytes from each of these folks. It sure couldn't hurt (and definitely might help) if Limbaugh made an endorsement, but it looks like he's going to keep his powder dry on this one, sadly.

In other words here's a pros and cons list:

Money: Romney

Delegates: Romney

States won: Romney

Future prospects: (who's going to win this or that in the future) Not applicable because pollsters have been entirely wrong thru this whole process.

Not yet. If Hucks' supporters will quit supporting him based on the pros/cons list his dropping out or not dropping out would be rendered irrelevant.

Anyway here's a suggestion for plan B. Vote McCain in as president. Then when we can convince most democrats that McCain is a republican us conservatives will join hand in hand with them and impeach McCain. I'm sure democrats, disappointed that McCain wins the presidency will find something to nail him with. lol.

“I will vote for who I believe is right and not for who I’m told to.”

Me too. I was a FredHead, and was told to vote for McCain becsause he has the only chance of beating Hillary. Well I voted for Mitt Romney instead. The New York Times and MSM wanted me to vote for anyone but Romney, so I voted Romney. :)

Not gonna happen any more than the Romney people will drop their support. Both bases are locked in. When I was supporting Hunter, it was no use talking with them. They were very nice and listened but would come back with let me tell you about “Mike Huckabee”.

I’m actually ok with that. I was supporting Huckabee when it seems no one here was supporting Huckabee:’). His numbers have grown a little so it’s getting a little more comfortable now though. Even if someone said they were voting for McCain I might tell them why I’m not but hey if he’s their guy.....

That may be true, but there is a huge difference between ‘most conservative’ and ‘conservative’.

He endorsed Specter over a real conservative. Why wouldn’t he endorse this ‘campaign conversion conservative’? This is just more party over principle pandering from Santorum. He probably wants one good paying government job in a Romney administration rather than the 6 part time jobs that he now holds.
