I can understand Ann’s logic but couldn’t bring myself to do likewise. Voting for Hillary is like administering nearly lethal chemo prior to a bone marrow transplant. Get it over with, make the patient (in this case, the GOP and the nation) even sicker in order to eventually cure the disease.

The bigger issue is, what if McCain wins the nomination and goes on to win the White House without conservative or evangelical support? Would that not expose the conservative and evangelical emperors as having no clothes? That they no longer have the clout they once had?

I would vote libertarian if Huck the Preacher or Rudy the Slimeball had gotten the nomination. I may be alone here, but McCain would at least be good at keeping spending under control, so I could hold my nose.

Anyone who would vote for Hillary to be CIC spits on the men and women in uniform and that includes Coulter. Can you imagine telling all the families of those that have given their life in Iraq, “thanks for nothing”?

I hate McCains policies on so many things, but he has shown that he will never cut and run.
