Reagan 08' !!!

Let me preface by saying that I haven't decided whether I will vote for the GOP candidate or not yet, whoever he is. My concern for the troops under a Democratic admin., is the only thing keeping me on the reservation for now. For those in my situation, or who will not vote for any or all of the remaining candidates, I have the perfect write in candidate...Ronald W. Reagan. Don't stay home; get out and vote the under card, and write in Ronnie if you can't pull the lever for a RINO. I know he wouldn't win, but it's better then not voting. Enough votes would send a message to the GOP "leadership". The GOP elite have decided to try and marginalize the Conservatives; staying home will only reinforce that. Stick it back at them and vote for the man that built up the party they are dismantling. You'll be voting Conservative, not GOP. We've been carrying this party for over 2 decades now. 2006 was a wake up call for the party to get back to its Conservative roots. Apparently the elite of the party decided we should go scratch, so they can reach out to more Liberal and Independent voters. I understand expanding the appeal to more moderate voters, but not at the expense of the principles that made the GOP the strong party it once was. I'm not asking those who will vote GOP to change their mind and write in Reagan. As stated above I may still pull the GOP lever myself. I'm asking those that may stay home or skip the top slot to still go out and vote, but write in Ronald Reagan. You'll still have state and local races to vote on. Besides you'll be casting the most Conservative vote of the whole electorate. I'm going to get me a Reagan 08' bumper sticker...even dead he's the best candidate.

No the numb-skull RINO’s who refused to support the only two conservatives in the race caused this, it is their fault.

I like Lewis Black.. He calls it as he sees it. I’ve actually met him in person. Seems a little more low key off stage.

"Lewis Black actually suggested in one of his rants to elect the corpse of Reagan to the presidency"Addled by Alzheimer's and dead in his grave for four years Reagan would still be a better President than any of the current candidates.

And as a corollary, there's no mention in the Constitution that the candidate has to be living. Reagan fills all of the qualifications. Plus;
Before he enter on the execution of his office, he shall take the following oath or affirmation:--"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
He's already taken the oath of office, so that requirement's fulfilled as well.

Reagan is dead, let's GET OVER HIM ALREADY!!!
That being said, Ronald Reagan's corpse would still make a better president than any of the current contenders.

That might be easier to swallow if the GOP hadn’t already given themselves over to the dems.

Surrendering to the Communists?
Nope. Just making sure that GOP-bot, RINO voting cowards are aware that there are a lot of us who aren't giving on this one. They need to understand that we're dead serious about write-ins.
Say, have you ever fought a man who had nothing to lose? Nobody wants to fight a man with nothing to lose. He's fearless! ...and we are fearless.
Your past postings place you squarely in the "anybody but Hillary" crowd and you've said yourself that the RINOs are "best of the worst". The problem is that there are a lot of us out there who could very possibly OFFSET what happens in November. Those of us who are vocal about it are the minority from our camp....which might be a majority. It's difficult when you can't count them. Most won't give you the time of day, but their intentions are set.
It's O.K. though...just keep "listening" to the polls, and the MSM. They say McCain is going to win...in spite of those of us who won't answer polls, and who have silently resolved to do what's right instead of vote this nation straight to hell with a RINO or a democrat! But while you're hoping what the MSM and the polsters say is true, weigh it up against people here who write similar things to what I'm writing. Believe them if you want to, but I've been through a couple of these threads now and I think the MSM and the polls are full of crap.
So let me repeat this just so there's no misunderstanding. It's wrong to vote for RINOs. It's wrong to vote for democrats. Its' wrong to sit out the vote (stay home). It's right to vote for a good person, and that's what we plan on doing. You say that we'll split the vote and bring in leftist rule to the Executive office, but we say the SAME about you. Understand however, that unlike the "anybody but Hillary" crowd, we're not motivated by fear. But I know that by saying these things, they generate fear. What a pathetic circle of slavery to have to live in....to vacillate between fear and anger having to deal with people like us.
