Nice picture. Thanks for posting.

Number eight, possibility of Duncan Hunter VP or Sec of Defense. Duncan Hunter's endorsement of Huckabee is significant given that Hunter saw Mike up close on the campaign trail.

Number nine, Huckabee excells in debates. Conservatives as a whole have a great sense of humor [FreeRepublic is a great example] and are articulate and inspiring on issues--Huckabee reflects that.

“...But he [Huckabee] is an excellent debater with a terrific sense of humor who hit his stride, especially in the debates, just as activists and party opinion leaders were starting to pay close attention before the Iowa caucuses. Running on a frayed shoestring and with a staff so small it would fit comfortably into a minivan, Mr. Huckabee used his moments to strongly impress voters...—Karl Rove on Mike Huckabee

Duncan Hunter: “I got to know Governor Huckabee well on the campaign trail,” said Hunter. “Of the remaining candidates I feel that he is strongly committed to strengthening national defense, constructing the border fence and meeting the challenge of China’s emergence as a military superpower that is taking large portions of America's industrial base.”

“Along with these issues of national security, border enforcement and protecting the U.S. industrial base, I see another quality of Mike Huckabee’s candidacy that compels my endorsement. Mike Huckabee is a man of outstanding character and integrity. I saw that character over the last year of campaigning and was greatly impressed. The other Republican candidates have many strengths and I wish them all well. My personal choice is Mike Huckabee,” Hunter concluded.

Huckabee only mentioned one person for Secretary of Defense, Duncan Hunter:
‘‘What you do,’’ he [Huckabee]explained, 'is surround yourself with the best possible advice.’ The only name he [Huckabee] mentioned was Representative Duncan Hunter of California. ‘Duncan is extraordinarily well qualified to be secretary of Defense,’ he [Huckabee] said.

Hunter undoubtedly had a closer look at Huckabee than conservative media commentators who have never met Huckabee or people commenting on a forum who have never bothered to research original sources or take a close look at what Huckabee actually says rather than what others are saying about him.

Duncan Hunter: His [Mitt Romney] company Bain Capital, is partnering with a Chinese company, a Chinese defense contractor, called the Wah-Way corporation, which helped Saddam Hussein set up his air defenses against American pilots, and Bane Capital is partnering with that outlawed Chinese defense contractor to buy an American defense contractor. You may know about that proposed deal, it's right now before the commitee on foreign investment... Duncan Hunter: I think its a security problem, and I think it is a real disservice to... Americans. I think Mitt Romney is a NO GO for that reason alone.....I like Mike Huckabee's integrity, I stood next to him in a lot of debates...

! Romney is a no go. The pretense that he is anything but a poll watching Rockefeller rich guys Republican is desperation by conservatives that want to see something in him that doesn’t exist. It’s basically saying “We will believe that when Romney panders, he means it, and will stick with it.” Why on earth would we believe that when he has switched positions for convenience at every opportunity and always looks to have it both ways on tough issues?
