Similarly, it is necessary to close Guantanamo and offer the prisoners there a legal framework in which they can be judged.
I also want, once elected, to organize a meeting in the Muslim world, with all the Heads of State, to discuss frankly how to bridge the divide between Islam and the West, which becomes greater every day. I want to ask them to join our anti-terrorism efforts. We must also listen to their concerns.
I also want us to take the lead in fields like climate change, which the Bush administration has neglected for so long, and which worries the world. If we show that we are in the forefront of climatic change and nuclear non-proliferation, then we will receive in exchange greater co-operation in the areas which concern us....

He’s insane. If this guy get’s elected, we might as well all go pick out our prayer rugs and learn to get on all fours five times a day. I think I’d like a red and green rug...will remind me of Christmas once the Obama administration bans it...
What would the Muslims gain from such a summit, besides a toehold? A little Sharia law jurisdiction. Maybe some territory from which to lob rockets at Americans.
