I let my subscription to
Time lapse in 1967.
I was reminded in an email from Beyond the Beltway's Bruce DuMont some years ago that Evan Thomas' grandfather was the founder of the ACLU and the Socialist standard bearer in six presidential elections.
The Newsweek personage who truly fascinates is Eleanor Clift. Imagine Eleanor Clift and Hillary Clinton interogating detainees.

I can remember a time when I liked “Time” myself.
I bought a Readers Digest a few months ago and it has changed tremendously, now it is a brochure of advertisements!
Eleanor Clift is on a par with Helen Thomas as to looks, lol.

The NYT is determined we are going to have our first black socialist far left president. And anyone that attacks him is going to have the race card played on them.
Just watch.
The upside is, it’s sort of fun to watch the Clintons getting treated like republicans. All these years, I thought they were minigods as far as the left was concerned.
I hate the activist press.

Seriously...Frank Rich crucified Bubba the other day...and this is the 2nd Dowd column mocking Hillary.
Not long ago the NYT charged money for her opinions..
Fascinating.

Yeah...but ruining a presidential bid is one thing.
Destroying their character and star-power are another.

For the left, aren’t they both the same thing?

Wonder what The NY Times is up to????________________
Well, could it be that since their revenues are down (see FR post NY Times posts lower profit, revenue falls 7 pct (Dinosaur Media DeathWatch) and since they are now aware that their long-time liberal slant and support has cost them readership - that is, $$$$, they will do anything to get their figures back up and save their paychecks.
If it means throwing the Clintons under the bus, because the public isn't having a love affair with them anymore, so be it - (ahem) for now. It has nothing to do with a change of heart by the NYT leadership about the notorious 'Toons or any facts about Clintons' frauds and deceits that the NYT previously ignored/would have ignored. When money is the issue, no one is safe even Bubba and Hitlery. Purely economical. Purely typical. And purely a ploy to bring back consertive readers and disenfranchised liberals.
