We have property up there where we go for weekends to get away - I refuse to let the old hippies ruin it for me.
In the nearest “big” town, there is an Iraq war protest every Saturday morning. We usually try to avoid it, but the few times we’ve caught it, it is truly pathetic. A handful of the over 60 crowd, still looking wild & unwashed standing around in clothes left over from the 60’s w/ signs left over from the 60’s. Told my husband in another year or too, the wheelchairs and walkers will outnumber the bikes & VW micro buses.
And this is a college town. This group is so pathetic they can’t even round up one or two college kids!!

I spend a lot of time in VT.....good fishing.....and they ARE nutty up there.
Well it is good to see that they are taking a hard line approach to certain “criminals”. Since they are soft on child rapists (don’t have the link but I am sure we all rememeber that about VT) one can only expect them to be “by the book” with the legaly elected representatives of our nation’s government. I mean it’s Bush they are after. Only makes sense. Right?

I think the cold is seeping into their brains and doing serious damage. And I have good friends that live there and have to deal with idiots like that every day. But is some beautiful landscape up there all year round.
