It has to be one of the dumbest analyses I have ever heard. Romney is a close second in the delegate count and 85% of the delegates needed for nomination are being contested less than one week from today. Apparently, his campaign has enough money to continue (and he can always personally subsidize it), so why not hang in for one more week? I'm an anybody-but-Mitt guy, but why would ANYONE expect him to leave the race now? Unless there is a big change in the polls quickly, a week from now that question is likely to be very valid but now it just stupid.

I've seen Freeper after Freeper complain about your posts. I've noticed some have accused you of posting positive things only about Obama. Hmmmm. Curious.

And since you have arrived at FR, I've noticed that the level of discourse has plunged. I don't know if you have an old screen name or your really are a DNC plant as some have alleged, but your posts don't even deserve a serious response. In fact, I usually skip right over your posts, but since you pinged me....

Suffice it to say, you break the rules every day.

Please enjoy our forum, but also please remember to use common courtesy when posting and refrain from posting personal attacks, profanity, vulgarity, threats, racial or religious bigotry, or any other materials offensive or otherwise inappropriate for a conservative family audience.

Sad that FR puts up with it.

There are two viable candidates left now: Romney and McCain. McCain is the frontrunner. Bashing Romney only make mcCain inevitable.

The very worst that can happen with Mitt Romney is still better than the best that can happen with John McCain!

Better a convert than a traitor!

Mitt Romney signed English-only in schools and vetoed in-state tuition for illegal immigrants. John McCain tried to push shamnesty. That alone is more than enough reason to vote Romney.

So what? He's 95% liberal instead of 100%.

I'll bet he did those things in his last year in office simply because he knew he was going to run for President and need to appear to be conservative.

Why wouldn’t Romney keep going? He was ahead in delegates until last night. Wouldn’t be too hard for him to overcome McCain’s lead at this point.

Better a convert than a traitor!

Calling McCain a "traitor" smacks of hyperbole and desperation. He may be slimy on some issues, and flat-out wrong on others, but a traitor? Please.

Calling Romney a "convert" is dubious at best. He's an opportunist who will become a liberal "revert" as soon as he takes office (which, I pray, will NEVER happen).

I agree. Bob Dole’s great, but he was too old to run for President. McCain’s 72. He’s either actually too old or voters will think he’s too old and HRC or Obama would beat him. I am praying for Romney.

Romney could defeat McCain for the nomination in a 2-man race. Huck, however, is pimping for McCain. As long as Huck continues to siphon conservative votes from Romney, McCain can skate to the nomination, all the while contemptuous of the base of his own party.

This is one Hell of a mess, and it all started when Huck won Iowa. Idiots.

“I was and am a FRedhead.
However, I don’t sit in a cave nursing disappointment, bitterness, grievances and surrender.....and slowly morphing into a moonbat hanging forever in the darkness from a stalactite.

I don’t look back at what might have been....but what yet can be. Like Rush says, “it is what it is”......and one plays the cards one has been dealt.......and still plays to win.”

Could not have said it better! I will not give up until it is over. We have a debate tonight for Romney to shine, and we have Super Tuesday coming up that can change everything! Giuliani is out, and although Rudy endorses McCain, it does not mean that Rudy’s supporters will! I believe they will go to Romney over McCain. If folks really consider what we have to choose from, Romney is the “most conservative” we have left and he would beat Hillary or Obama. The MSM lie about McCain being the only one to beat Hillary is exactly what the MSM wants us to believe because the opposite is the truth. Watch the CNN moderators go after Romney tonight and give McCAin the “easy treatment”. I believe that Romney will do fine in the debate and things can change a lot between now and Tuesday. It isn’t over yet!!

Oh I get it

“You are pro-abortion

I guess you like the idea of condoning the BBQing and butchering of innocent babies

Just dont call yourself conservative

I got your number, you ghoul”

As I have said before, Nana, you are one sick puppy. You truly need psychiatric care. I don’t understand why you are allowed to continue posting as you are not screwed on right and it is obvious for all to see. Your vile and outlandish statements and accusations with no basis in reality are detrimental to both those you accuse and to your own mental well being. I suggest you seek help before it is too late for you.

Can you list some occasions within the last four years when McCain has shown liberals the same enmity as he has shown conservatives?

Can you list some occasions within the last four years when McCain has offered any meaningful opposition beyond a 'yes' or 'no' vote to anything liberals have tried to do?

McCain and Hillary would both be dictators for life if they could. McCain, however, would be more likely to undermine enough resistance within the OGOP to actually succeed.
