McCain topper Rick Davis quietly negotiated the agreement.
HALPERINS TAKE: 10 things Giuliani could have done differently.
Giuliani, in Florida concession speech, talked about his effort in the past tense, but said nothing explicit about dropping out or The Deal.

I will back no matter who our nommanie is... they are 1000% better then Hillary in the Whitehouse. I dont let 1 or 2 issues get in the way because Hillary has 1000 issues I disagree with... I no vote = a vote for Hillary. As I posted in another post. Hillary will rally our base, not Mccain and he would smoke her in the general election.

It’s not encouraging, that’s for sure. Conservatives will be voting Republican with their noses firmly plugged, it looks like.

I guess the payoff deal for Huckabee has him stay in through Super Tuesday to keep peeling some conservatives from whatever’s left of Mitt’s campaign.

In some countries they call it a coups.A cooze? I heard someone call McCain that here in the good ol' U.S.A. just yesterday.

I can't help but notice things are getting worse every election cycle, and to be honest have little confidence in things getting better in my lifetime.
Yeah I know, I'm a downer.

McCain is now virtually impossible to stop. He’ll easily win CA, OH, PA, NY, NJ.

Thompson backed McCain-Feingold, and was one of only 4 in Congress to back McCain for President last time around.Exactly. If McCain and Thompson are 180 degrees apart, its because McCain has been moving steadily toward the nomination and Thompson long ago went in in the other direction

I’m as strong and loyal FRedhead as they come. I don’t feel, in the least bit, betrayed.
Anyone who does hasn’t gotten over the shock yet, or they weren’t much of a FRedhead.
If you really believe in someone, you’ll trust their decisions, without qualification.

Not thrilled with McCain, but I REALLY don't like RomneyNot thrilled with Romney, but I REALLY don't like McCain.
To: what's up
I agree with that. Here’s why:
Hard line conservatives hate McCain and won’t vote for him BUT ... TONS of Democrats HATE Hillary!!!!
MCain will get the support of most of the Republican party, he will get the squishy middle independents, and he will get a lot of Democrats. I just don’t see America making Hillary CIC when we a at war.
That’s my take anyway.

Thanks to the division in conservative ranks, Mitt here, Fred there, Mike over there ... Thanks to all the Mitt-bashers tearing down Mitt and the Huck robocalls, thanks to the Huckaboom to Huckahasbeen trajectory of that non-conservative who gathered up so many social conservative votes, thanks to Fred’s non-starting lackluster campaign, thanks to ALL that ...
THE COUNTRY’S #1 RINO, JOHN MCCAIN, HAS BEEN DELIVERED AS OUR FRONTRUNNER. If John McCain wins, the conservatives will have no real candidate for President.
Yes, I’d say prayers are in order. An “annointing of the sick” for the conservative movement is in order.
