Its what the republican party wanted, thats the whole point of the primary. Folding your arms going “nah nah nah nah, I can’t hear you” to the republican party isnt going to change a thing, except putting our worst nightmare (hillary) in office.

They differ somewhat on individual issues. When I weigh their overall positives and negatives, however, Romney and McCain are just about the same for me. A distinction without a difference.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m no big fan of Mitt. I’m a Fredhead.
McVain has ticked me off so many times I can hardly stand the sight of him. Mitt simply doesn’t stink as bad as the rest of the RINO’s.
Giuliani failed very well all on his own.
He’s now out, so that is currently a “net win.”
Perhaps a case of being careful what you wish for? Romney would have laid waste to Giuliani. McCain is going to be much harder to put down.
As much as I supported Senator Thompson, there is still this twinge of doubt about his role re: McCain.
I believe both Thompson and Giuliani gave up much too easily. What does that say about the type of presidents each would have become? After 6 or so states they leave?

Romney is done if he doesn’t win California ... and also needs Huckabee to win states like Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas (and maybe Oklahoma, West Virginia).
McCain will win states like NJ, NY, DE ... probably Illinois, Minnesota, Arizona ... and some others

HRC gets in and does irreparable damage - all Americans will pay - but the Dems will get a pass & her failures will be Bush’s fault.
Best scenario - American people will overcome the usual stupidity and rebuild their lives with valuable lessons learned....a rebirth even.
I agree. McCain is nuts. The dems could run anyone and McCain will lose, simply because McCain’s going to have a melt-down moment before November. It will be public and ugly. That throws the election to Obama or Hillary.

He went on attack as a matter of defense. He should have come out swinging at the offset instead of waiting until he was attacked. It makes him look defensive.
Excuses aren’t going to cut it. If he wants to win this nomination, he better not wait until he’s attacked.
The GOP is done for a few election cycles. It is not a party of conservative principles, and has ceased to be so for a long time. It’s just been “the lesser evil”.
Threatening us with “President Hillary” is just a cheap tactic that allows them to push whatever RINO they want down our throat.
I’m done being afraid of the Clintons. We fought them hard last time, we’ll fight them again.
I’d rather fight a Clinton than go out with a whimper when a RINO president pushes socialized medicine down our throats!
As for McCain. You cannot get me to sell my soul to THAT particular devil. I voted for a RINO once (our governator in CA). After the mess he’s made of this state (worse than Gray Davis in many respects!) I am no longer going down that path again.
And McCain just relishes twisting the knife in our back. No way in hell am I going to vote for Mr. Amnesty, and Mr. CFR.
It’s going to be tough for me to pull the lever for him, but if my choices (our choices) are McCain and Hillary or Obama, I have to take McCain, because not voting is not an option for me. A non vote, or a third party vote, is a vote for a democrat.
If McCain falls in Giuliani’s trap, full of gays and WTC scandals, then, it’s almost certain that Hillary or Obama will rule.
