Finally, there is a conservative answer to MoveOn.org: RoeGone.org ... What's even nicer is the ad they're launching to expose Mitt Romney's record. Be looking for secular conservative pundits and compromising pro-lifers to jump the Romney ship soon...
Unlike the other ads that have been done on Romney that primarily focus on his flip-flops on abortion, marriage, gun control, immigration, taxes, pornography etc., RoeGone.org's ad clearly delineates Romney's record as governor which is very appropriate since that's exactly what Gov. Romney said we should do... [Link to ad in post #2.]
Meanwhile, the word is getting out that Gov. Mike Huckabee is the only candidate who supports both a Human Life Amendment and a Marriage Protection Amendment.
* Unlike Mitt Romney whose health-care plan includes abortion on demand.
* And John McCain who thinks taxpayers should fund medical experiments on human embryos.
* And Rudy Giuliani who supports every single abortion for all nine months, just like Hillary Clinton, Barack Hussein Obama and John Edwards.
Huckabee stands for marriage while McCain and Giuliani (and Clinton, Obama and Edwards) oppose the Marriage Protection Amendment, and Romney opposed a Marriage Amendment to his state constitution...
Yesterday, National Right to Life Political Action Committee issued the following statement:
"National Right to Life is grateful for the strong pro-life record established by Mike Huckabee as governor of Arkansas, and recognizes that Governor Huckabee has taken the strongest pro-life position on all of the life issues of any of the remaining candidates for president"...
And Rep. Duncan Hunter's endorsement of Huckabee is helping to bring the defense and border conservatives on board:
"I got to know Governor Huckabee well on the campaign trail," said Hunter... "Mike Huckabee is a man of outstanding character and integrity." ...

Terminate the federal highway program and transfer existing funding mechanisms and responsibilities to the states.
The federal highway program was created in 1956 to build the interstate highway system, an objective that was met in the early 1980s. Absent a clear objective in the years since then, the highway program has become just another spending program, and the motorists who pay the federal fuel taxes that fund the system suffer accordingly as roads become crowded and poorly maintained. With the interstate completed and with todays most pressing traffic problems regional and/or local in nature, a centralized, one-sizefits- all program run by Washington bureaucrats is no longer appropriate or effective.
You kids settle down because if you don’t I’m going to turn this car around and nobody gets any ice cream.
Candlelit restaurants with no food but lots of Gypsies with violins?
Didn’t Michelle Malkin write a piece about the McCain/Soros connection? Hmmmmm Moveon.org... HMMMMMMMMMMM
So coincidental now that Mitt is doing so well.
Fancy that.
Meet the open borders family: McCain, Hernandez, Soros, and the Reform Institute
I think the World Net Daily is printed by aliens hovering over south Texas.
This “paper” is about two elevator stops below the worse supermarket rag.
An appropriate venue though for the Huckabee camp that wants to get “THE WORD” out, which Huckabee has written and not the Lord.

Bang on! You hit the nail on the head! McCain’s minions are behind this one...
Guiliani, Romney, Huckabee, McCain. You can have them all.
I would not put my money on any of these four.
“McCains minions are behind this one...”
You may want to check my posting history.
RoeGone.org?
I feel much better about a Romney victory today after reading the filth on this thread made to bring down Romney. If anything, it’s made me more steadfast in at least vocally backing the man.
When you pit Romney’s former positions on the issues against the 30-plus years that Psycho McCain’s been in office (in both the House and the Senate), there ain’t no comparison. McCain’s a liberal who hates people like me (conservatives) with a passion. He is everything that is wrong with America. He’s a liar, first and foremost. He’s a failed Senator, secondarily. He’s done everything to INCREASE the Invasion of the U.S. by Mexico and the Third World. He’s a psycho and a dangerous man, and MUST not become President!
Why did Mike Huckabee set up a private fund that paid for abortions for Medicaid recipients back in 96?
Hi AiT
:)
Doesn’t Mitt Romney have a thorough explanation of these things? (And not “the courts made me do it,” where that is not true.) We need to see it.
- Executive order forcing justices of the peace to perform homosexual “marriages?”
- “Party A,” do you agree to marry “Party B?”
- Appointed a “Homosexual Bar” member and other extreme leftists to the bench; more Democrats than Republicans?
- Signed taxpayer funded abortion on demand as a part of Massachusetts’ statist healthcare package?
- Forced even Catholic hospitals to distribute the “morning after” abortion/hemorrhage pill?
I can't tell these two apart... they sound like the same...
Rogaine?
Somebody needs it bad...
prove it
McCain wants to give illegals amnesty, Giuliani wants to give them welfare and Huckabee wants to give both.
My first two choices are out of the race.
Romney is my last option.
After that, I write in “Bullwinkle” and leave the Republican party.
Romney is the only one of those scheming bastards who does not take a government check.
