Ha. My milk brother told me that Hamas is charging the Gazans like 80% tax on cigarettes. They have to smuggle them from Israel & Egypt to afford to smoke. But if they were starving, I’d be one of the first to know.

Not odd. Palestinians would pour into Egypt & cause mayhem, as has already happened in Lebanon, Jordan, & several other places. Even Arafat's widow was kicked out of Tunisia a month or so ago. Palestinians in Egypt aren't allowed to be Egyptians & don't have access to the same schooling & jobs available to Egyptians. They are simply not welcome there & many other places.

Antisemitic, anti-Israeli rhetoric notwithstanding, Egypt rulers recognize the biggest danger to themselves in Muslim Brotherhood and its spawns and ideological allies. Hamas would be one of them.
