I agree. Let me also add, I have no respect for armchair quarterbacks. Amen!...or backseat drivers.

And what race am I?

A bigot can be any race (not just white). A product of a good liberal education, I see.

Easy when they are all ‘ready to go’ like that!! Always good to see the ‘movement’.

I have always supported OUR President, I voted for him and am proud of it. I disagree with him on several things {mostly on illegal immigration}. On the spending side I figure all bets were off after 9-11.

I feel he has been a great President and the right man at the right time.

“The President has also done some good things for this country.”

I don’t think anyone’s really debating that. I still have a lot of admiration for him, despite some maddening differences.

If Hume thinks that Frank is smart, then I really have to wonder about Hume.

Did he mention China at all, and how the Chinese are taking over the world? China’s 200+ billion trade surplus with the US? Anything about the illegals taking jobs away from hard working Americans? Perhaps we bring some jobs back to the US and secure the border, that would help the economy, perhaps better than the stimulus package.

I’m sorry, i’m in an angry mood today. I’m just reflecting on the last 8 years, and apart from the magnificant management the war and the fight against terror, I can’t say that I’m overly optimistic about the last 8 years or the current state of the Union.

getting next.

He’s been a great president.

that's the one whose son came up with the game, "Pass the Soap" in college (in Rhode Island).

Elitism comes out of the closet; what you practice in private your kids shout from the housetops.

I am a teacher, and a conservative. The only thing wrong with NCLB is that the federal gov’t has no business in education.

President Bush has stood as a bulwark against those forces,

Yes, he has.

President Bush is a very strong, yet humble man. I thank God for him and these last 8 years of his excellent leadership.

Per Drudge: BUSH PRAISES PELOSI

Yet in the story at the link the President does no such thing! Does this: "My administration reached agreement with Speaker Pelosi and Republican Leader Boehner on a robust growth package that includes tax relief for individuals and families and incentives for business investment," Bush said. "The temptation will be to load up the bill. That would delay it or derail it, and neither option is acceptable. This is a good agreement that will keep our economy growing and our people working. And this Congress must pass it as soon as possible." count as "praising Nancy"?? What about Boehner?? No praise for him? Is Drudge making things up??
