LDS Ping.
It is with great sadness, that I pass this on. Prayers for his family, as well as joy for the reunion that surely is taking place with his dear Marjorie.

I’ve been trying to confirm this. What a sad day.
Thanks. I just heard from a neighbor, I didn’t have the TV on. I am glad he is reunited with his wife. He has been a marvelous prophet and president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I will miss him.
God bless.
He was such a sweet man. I’ll miss his kindness and humor.
God be with you President Hinkley.
My deepest sympathies to our LDS Freepers. I was living in Utah during the time Pope John Paul II passed away, and I remember the LDS church authorities expressing their sorrow over his passing. Let us remember that President Bush awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Gordon Hinckley for his humanitarian efforts to the world. President Hinckley showed the goodness of America to the needy people of this planet.
I’m always sorry to hear of someone passing. May God rest his soul.
Passing away at 97 years old says a lot for that clean high mountain Mormon living. Rest in peace and best regards to his family.
Prayers for Gordon Hinckley’s loved ones.
Had to check since I’d never heard of Glrdon as a name.
interesting dynamic in the new media.
Missed this on the news. Thanks for posting.
It’s always a sad day when a gentleman passes away. Gordon B. Hinckley was a gentleman.
A good man. His wife passed some years back. Many of us were hoping he’d get to a hundred.
A great, great man, who was inspiring, humorous, and led by example. God rest His soul...I know he is thrilled and happy to be back with his beloved and with his Savior.
He is happily with his wife now. That is all that really matters.
Now that he is gone, I wonder if anyone can tell me what his three most significant prophecies were (being the only prophet, seer and revelator on earth)?
May God have mercy upon his soul.
Prayers for his family, my sister and her family, and all LDS. Mormon bishops put oil on my head and laid their hands upon me and prayed when I laid with a broken neck years and years ago, and I still credit my almost complete recovery to that. I give thanks to any LDS for that.
I saw him a few year back on TV. Not being LDS, I was not familiar with him. I listened to his interview and was very impressed with how much wisdon and common sense this man exuded. What a tremendous loss for the LDS church. RIP.
