Dear Michelle,
I attended the townhall meeting earlier today in Polk City and asked John McCain:
Your Hispanic Outreach Campaign Advisor, Juan Hernandez, has written a book referring to illegal immigrants as “New American Pioneers.” Hernandez has also stated that illegal immigrants who use social security numbers of American citizens really don’t steal, they have no choice but to make up a number. Are you aware of his statements? Do you agree with him? If not would you consider removing him from your staff?
John McCain answered that he supported Juan Hernandez because he holds the same views as he (McCain) on other issues. He says that he determines his positions and Hernandez agrees with him, not the other way around. He appeared to be unaware of the specific positions of Hernandez that I related.
I would say I got a non-answer. I did not get a video but all the media were present.

The local fishwrap, The Lakeland Ledger (A NYT newspaper), mentioned nothing of this. They did, howecer, endorse McNuts and the Hildabeast.
Been reading on Freerepublic about Hernandez and have seen him TV and he is a weasel, at best.

I hope the question of the appropriateness of having a Mexican Citizen advising McCain comes up at the next debate.

See what happens when you and cohorts poison voters minds about Mike Huckabee, Michelle?
———————————————————————————>
Your Tagline does support Huckabee, in that he does protect the illegals in Arkansas, but unfortunately the tax payers pay for it.
I think Michelle’s right on to present the facts on Huckabee, not the emotional issues he strives to arouse in his campaign stumping.

McCain just flat out says yeah, Im going to give your country away, what are you gonna do about it?Well said. Ol' "Twitch" McCain is all about McCain. He's more narcissistic than Clinton, and frighteningly unpredictable.

Should have asked McCain if it was appropriate to have a Mexican Citizen (Hernandez) advising a United States Presidential contender! In all fairness, (spit!) it should be noted that Juan Hernandez holds dual US-Mexican citizenship.
I still have to agree, though, with the FR post from the other day - He does look like the love child of Satan and the Burger King. :=)

Im going to be awol on election day, as it applies to the top of the ticket.
I'm completely for closing the borders and dismantling this idea of amnesty, but do you mind if I play Devil's Advocate?
Would Clinton or Obama do more to close the borders? I agree with you that we need a CONSERVATIVE in the office, but with potentially two SCOTUS seats to be filled IMHO there is more at risk in this election than just the border.

“Expect a Larry Kudlow column any day saying the USA needs a man with military experience as CIC and he is TALKING McCain”
This can cut both ways. He can become a medler and feel he knows more than the people on the ground. I feel that is the way McQueeg would go.

McCain Huckabee ticket = nobody will show up to vote. If that nightmare transpired, I would plan to spend election day doing something I really enjoy doing while we can.
I would not be persuaded to give the elections the time of day.

It seems the only people supporting McLame are either ignorant, or worse, using illegals in their business or other type of cheap labor, not careing what happens to the country.

re: duel citizenship. yes, he is a US Citizen AND a Mexican citizen.
More importantly; where do you think Mr. Hernandez’s loyalties lie, because it sure isn’t to the United States of America!
By the way; it wasn’t until recently that Mexico allowed duel citizenship with the United States; if you wanted to be a citizen of the United States you had to renounce your Mexican heritage and give up all your Mexican property.
Got any clue why they (Mexico) suddenly decided there was nothing wrong with duel citizenship........?

What makes you think a McCain Presidency would feel obligated to fill Supreme Court openings with conservatives? Remember; McCain likes to get along and go along. He would think the court could be improved by more “balance”.
