OVER the years, Ive been deeply moved by the people whove told me they wished they could feel inspired and hopeful about America the way people did when my father was president. This sense is even more profound today. That is why I am supporting a presidential candidate in the Democratic primaries, Barack Obama...

Well put!
The laws of physics that keep an airplane airborne and under control are certainly no respecter of persons! In politics, law, finance, etc. who you are and who you know can open a lot of doors, but ‘up there’ when you’ve blundered untrained, unprepared or unequipped for instrument flight they are useless.

You’ll get no arguement from me Aria. IMO, Hillary is worse than Obama, so I’m going to state that he is the best man to run on the left. He is not fit to be president, but then Hillary isn’t even fit to be called a human.
What can I say.

If this helps Hillary lose, I’m all for it.

KJC1, comparing Obama to Hitler is wrong? This guy voted against the Induced Infant Liability Act, which would have protected babies that survived late-term abortion.
He also voted against the Born Alive Infants Act which would have given babies medical support after a failed abortion.
He is for partial birth abortion.
Hitler wanted dead Jews; Obama wants dead babies. Okay, he hasn’t ORDERED babies to be killed but he’s doing everything possible NOT TO PREVENT IT. In my eyes he’s a monster.
And the way he’s fooling the American public the way Hitler fooled Germany with his “charisma” is a very just comparison.

Unless Republicans stand up for something real soon, Mr. Ultra liberal Obama is the next President
The DimicRATS'obssesion : Let's have a HUSEIN (Barrack Obama) as US President, to show the world our remorse for kicking out another president named HUSEIN (Saddam).

Dear Caroline,
Since you are manifestly unfamiliar with your father's actual ideas, you might start by reading his speeches. He had many grave faults, to be sure, but he does make today's Demagogues look like the spineless weasels they are.
Caroline, why don't you start with your father's Inaugural Address:
"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty. This much we pledge and more."
It is impossible for Obama (or Shrillary or Edwards, of course) to utter such words, or certainly they could never actually mean them.

!!!!!! Whoa!!! That is brutal for the Clintonistas if we think about how Bill Clinton considers himself to have received the Torch of Camelot directly from JFK at the White House. This really is an attempt to put a dagger in the back of the Clintonista "legacy" - she rejects Bill Clinton's fantasies of being the heir to JFK and she presents to the Demagogue faithful a vision of Obama as the true heir to Camelot. Wow, this must have Bill and Shrillary in meltdown mode, and I'll bet the lamps and ashtrays are flying tonight.

Just waiting for the other Camelot slipper to drop.....
I’ll bet that a few days before “Super Tuesday” Teddy the Swimmer gives a barn-burning speech somewhere, announcing his endorsement of Obama and continuing the theme of Obama as the true heir of Camelot.
Think about it..... Caroline most certainly discussed this extensively with Uncle Ted, who has every reason to feel disrespected by and displaced by the Clintonistas. I’ll bet that Teddy the Swimmer is onboard with the full program of trying to pass the Torch of Camelot to the new generation as represented by Obama.
Shrillary is in a meltdown rage tonight, I guarantee it.

Whenever liberals ask me what positive things Nixon had ever done, I always respond that he made us all forget how much we hated LBJ.

Friday, Claire McCaskill, a Democrat U.S. Senator from Missouri announced her support for Obama....
If I heard correctly Bill Clinton was in Independence, MO., this evening.
Clintonism is getting slapped around big time this weekend.

Jackie was known to dislike the Clintons heartily. Her housekeeper was quoted after her death that Jakcie didn’t even want to be in the same room with them, thought they were “trash.” Jackie also had a long-time friendship with Nancy Reagan. Always liked Jackie. She was desreibed as a “former Republican.” No wonder she did not get along with the rest of the Kennedys. I don’t think she was a “former” Republican.

But Obama is young, inexperienced, and has no common sense.

He also has a messed up family life, that makes the Clintons look normal.

“The second coming of Camelot.” In JFK’s case, there were a lot more “comings” than two.
To: Aria
JFK was a WAR HERO, which Obama certainly isn’t. JFK LOATHED Communism, and loved his country. I would question the patriotism of bith Obama and Hillary.
To: steadcom
Her father was so conservative, he wouldn’t acceptable to run as a Republican today.
