85% of the top 100 are receiving little or no conservation attention and will become extinct if action is not taken now. So what?

Methinks it takes much more unsubstantiated faith to believe in inter-species evolution than to believe Christ is the Lamb of God and was raised from the dead.

Ugliest puppy I ever saw.

We seem to be overrun with frogs where I live but its been years since I’ve found a salamander.

"evolved independently" A self-contradictory event.

Don’t tax me, restrict my movements or raise prices on food and fuel because of a .......blind see-through salamander.

So what?
Mankind is the steward of nature and we have an obligation to care for it. This should not, however, happen through top-down government fiat, like the liberals want, but through responsible individuals and communities structuring their lifestyles in an environmentally responsible way.

I just want to make sure I got it straight-
The salamander evolved and existed before the dinosaurs and survived comet impacts, mass extinctions, ice ages, etc. but is endangered because of your SUV.

Conservatives make the best environmentalists. I happen to like nature and I do all I can to bring it into my yard.

I agree. Personally, I prefer the term “conservationism”, simply because “environmentalist” has been co-opted by the watermelons.
To: blam
I note a certain lack of symapathy here.
Do you have any ideas as to how to preserve at least the genetic information of these species?

Doohickey, that comment made cola come out my nose!
Where I live, it’s all about snail darters, which are kind of like smelts only smaller. Yeah.
Some believe if we don’t protect ‘em the whole food chain will be destroyed. I’m like, “dude, get off the mushrooms!”

If we let the greenies run things we would see a massive die off of deer here in Michigan. Evil Hunters are the main reason the deer population is many times larger than it was 100 years ago.
