Perhaps Camenker (and his DNC pals) could riddle me this?

If MassResistance's allegations of a pro-gay agenda were true about Mitt Romney why are gay activists some of Romney's harshest critics?

It was a pleasure standing with you in OLNEY. The pictures were up again recently.

It will be good to “stand” with you again on this subject.

I appreciate the information you have given me in this post.

First, you better read posts better. I never said their underwear was “magical.”

Then why post it?

Second, whether you want to believe it or not, there are many Mormons who believe the underwear gives them protection. I have seen interviews with ex-members who believed that, and current members who feel that way. You can put your head in the sand and believe what you want.

And many “Christians” believe the pope is the Anti Christ! I KNOW so called “Christians” that believe that and argue it. You can point out all the kooks you like but Mormons aren’t the only ones that can believe kooky things. You can pretend that doesn’t happen to - kooky “Christians”. Hey, GWB believes Islam is the “religion of peace” and their god is the same as the Christian God - of course it isn’t.

Third, I did not level criticism of Mitt for wearing them or say he believes he’s protected by them.

So why post this idiotic stuff? The implication which you don’t want to admit it that ALL Mormons believe this and Mitt has on his “magical underwear!

Try some decaf.

Perhaps you need to sober up and stop posting ridiculous stuff ... it makes you look bad.

I'm an optimist. :)

It's also a way to let the GOP know that a change is coming.

Other than for the afore mentioned plants here, this is the thing I least understand about some here. With all the flak the right takes about religion from the left, one would think we would be a little more tolerant & understanding.

At this point, Romney takes more hits on religion from those on the right than from the left. I guess some never do learn from their own trials & tribulations. It’s not o.k. for them to get bashed from the left, but it’s o.k. to bash Romney. Eating our own indeed. I guess there are senseless folks on both sides. A shame.

This homepage has a lot about Mitt's actual record not the DNC "talking points" that Ann Coulter mentions some conservatives are being duped by. http://www.freerepublic.com/~unmarkedpackage/

And then there is this. Most FredHeads are moving to Mitt. http://blog.electromneyin2008.com/2008/01/24/new-fredheads-for-mitt-banners/

Mitt doesn’t wear “magical undies”.

That gives rise to the question, do you have a private video to prove it?

I wouldn’t care if his underwear were selections from the Victoria’s Secret catalog IF he appoints good judges, keeps taxes and spending in check and exerts a strong defense / foreign policy.

Conservatives aren’t going to be elected to dogcatcher if we continue the habit of eating our own.

Willard is not and never has been a conservative.

Bizarro world ... Werent you one of those who was repeating the distortions and untruths that were used to attack Mitt Romney? So when a defender comes a long to correct the record, you call it a “puff piece”.

No. A puff piece is when Dan Rather tells the Clintons “if you could only be a hundred as great as you ...”.

This is simply correcting the record on behalf of a candidate who has had more lies and distortions thrown at him than any other candidate.

This is America you are free to vote are not to vote for whomever you wish. And I do not believe I said other wise, I just wish you could get the mittbots to be honorable enough to understand the same concept.

What you are doing when you make light of what some people consider sacred, you are showing your ignorance and meanness.

You mean that Mormons really do wear funny underwear??

Very good post, Reno. Succinct, too. I don’t know how any reasonable person could disagree with you.

The new Florida poll shows that Romney has the highest support (30%) of any Republican candidate among Pro-Life voters. Huck was second at 15%.

Not a surprise.

If we werent clued in enough by McCain's wrong views on stem cells or his attacks on the religious right or his RINO dalliances, Senator Santorum (on Townhall a few weeks back) exposed John McCain's real views in the Senate caucus - as basically a suck-up to whatever the NYTimes says. Even though McCain votes okay on pro-life, he's never there when needed to take up the banner in the Senate; he's undercut social conservatives in many other ways, with CFR, with his 'gang of 14', and attempts to stymie votes on these issues. Same on marriage. McCain is against FMA, courted log cabin folks, etc.

McCain is in truth not much better than Rudy Guiliani on social issues, it's just Rudy has a more out-of-the-closet record. It's why the voter blocs behind these two guys overlap.

Huckster is so unacceptable on other issues and is really not in the running seriously, except maybe to be McCain's VP (arrrgh!) that he's not right either.

Prolifers like myself who are looking for an excellent and articulate friend for our issues have as the best candidate Mitt Romney. Romney's railing against judicial activism since the Goodrich ruling, and Judge Bork's endorsement of Mitt Romney speaks to the confidence we can have that Romney will appoint judicial conservatives. Better a convert than a traitor.
