They must have made a mistake. I didn’t think California had any sensible judges left.

Watch out for the appeal on this one.

Unfortunately, that probably also means that Muslim schools can continue to teach hate.

it’ll be reversed on appeal

Guess what...I can impose “standards”, too...for myself. A court telling me that I have to agree with homosexuality under the guise of “tolerance” doesn’t fly. It’s an absurdity.

I’m not disputing that the school has the right to set standards of behavior but I think that the evidence used to boot these two is a little thin. For what they may or may not have been thinking, not what they were doing?

Finally, common sense from the bench. Refreshing.
This all comes from our students being taught cultural equivalence. When I tell my lib family members I do not believe all cultures are equal, they are shocked into silence. They’ve been reduced to muttering under their breath whenever they see a Confederate flag.

When I tell my lib family members I do not believe all cultures are equal, they are shocked into silence. Ask them if they think it's o.k. to beat the female members if they fail to observe proper ettiquite, or to forcibly circumcise grown women? What about societies that have true apartheid, or race-based slavery, like the Leho (who consider all pygmies their slaves)? I'll avoid the details of some cultures that find it a sin to spill a man's seed on the ground, and the steps they take to avoid that from happening during masterbation.
Equating them all as equal is lazy and assumes no standards.

sometimes these cases are lost on purpose so they can “make law” on appeal.
Happens with larger firms who want to create a favorable ruling to facilitate future cases.
