Well, my brain will explode if I listen to Matthews one more second. I’m going to the Bonny & Clyde thing on history channel.

and it seems as though he is talking over one, or maybe there is an aura of privilege that comes across Yes, I think he's going to come across as too slick to independents in the general who will then go to Hillary.

Yep. Do we want creeping incremental evil, or instant evil. Hard choice.
To: Fred; Jim Robinson
Jim should run that picture on the front page!!!!!

So true. The very guy who Dems and Mods vote for, the guy the MSM and the Dems are nice to...WHY DO YOU SUPPOSE THAT IS??? Because a) McCain is one of them, and b) they know they can beat him, easily!

Russert didn’t get the Republicans to really turn on each other, he must feel so inadequate tonight.
To: LordBridey
It could be just you ... I like him; to me he sounds charming and confident and ... just plain nice.

The guy was a governor insulated from the cesspool in DC. Have you seen the approval ratings of Congress lately???? Clinton and McCain will neutralize each other in a prospective match up, for being viewed as the entrenched establishment.
To: Eric Blair 2084
My thoughts is that Trey Parker and Matt Stone are freekin’ brilliant. That was a great commentary on the present state of American politics, all while taking on the politically correct ‘mascot’ issue. Another brilliant social satire brought to us by South Park. (watching the entire series on netflix).

I am not much of a drinker either, but I injured my jaw and until I get to the doctor two beers helps ease the pain before bed. (and also makes bad debates more interesting)

It’s not just you. I feel like I can’t trust Romney, as he seems to say whatever he thinks the electorate wants to hear him say.
To: AmericanMade1776
Romney would outclass Hillary. Pick a name at random from the phone book. That person would out class Hillary.

Right... the MSM is pushing McCain to the max. They were hoping Huckabee would “take off” (based on their pushing him, of course), but when they realized that probably wouldn’t happen, McCain was the 2nd best choice, since EITHER of them will get creamed by the Clintons.
The ranting moonbat aside, that leaves Romney and Rudy - both of whom were attacked mercilessly by the “impartial moderators” at MSNBC. Given the candidates that are left, I think a Romney/Guiliani ticket would be the RATS’ worst nightmare... which, of course, means it’s our best choice (out of what we have to work with, of course!).
To: AmericanMade1776
The mass media is trying their very best to hide Romney. I remember a similar strategy in 2000. W decided that he was going to campaign for one vote at a time and he went for it. Romney is doing the same thing! Both of these Harvard MBA grads are good strategists.
