Roger Hedgecock interview with Duncan Hunter on remaining GOP candidates and his endorsement of Huckabee...
I guess you’re right. BTW, my post was unnecessarily snarky. I really like Hunter and am absolutely dismayed at the way things have turned out. I think I’ll stay off the political threads for a while.
If you or me can't see such classified intelligence that supposively implicates Romney in some wild west tangential manner than obviously Romney can't either and therefore can't defend against this BS rumor. This is a BS charge and Hunter comes across as petty and dirty.
The video is 9 minutes and 10 seconds in length. I’m glad I listened to it once I got home. This is just a reminder for you to check it out. ;-)
Ditto! First Romney is accused of impropriety due to the actions of a company he no longer worked for at the time. Now we have claims of classified intelligence supposively proving something nefarious but due to the classified nature the accusation can be floated but the accused can't defend themselves. This is the same deal Bush has to deal with regarding the Dems. At a minimum very unprofessional.

Actually I meant this post for txlurker. Your belief that Hunter can make accusations due to supposed intelligence he has but can’t reveal that very intelligence means the accused can not defend themselves. If you believe that is allright then buzz off.
Uh...all polls said he was extensively up at that time but as the primary season voting began he lost that lead. So on the one hand Romneys detractors say, "Look he was way ahead in SC and lost much of his support." Now it's, "All those polls were rigged and he never was up." Whatever.
Look you know that if Romney got up and implied he had an abilty to change whatever deal /and/or direction a company was going he essentially links himself to the supposed impropriety. It's a trap that those of your ilk would love to see Romney fall into. Whatever.
Hunter has proved himself a loser in very quick fashion.
That simply isn't true. Romney obtained 287 [g] authority for his law enforcement personnel. I know of nothing to suggest that Romney is or was pro-amnesty. Tom Tancredo has endorsed him and Roy Beck has given him the highest grade of all the remaining candidates. As someone who is an immigration reform activist who went to South Carolina for four days following the McCain campaign around the state to protest his policies and who will be going to Florida on Saturday to do the same thing, I trust Romney more than McCain, Giuliani, and Huckabee on immigration.
Thompson was my first choice, but Romney is a decent person who has the energy, intellect, and executive experience to be a great President. He is more than a decent choice, he is a great choice who is head and shoulders above Hillary and Obama.
At home I’m on a low-bandwidth connection, so I most likely won’t be seeing this video.
Great interview. Glad I listened.
Thanks
I absolutely and unequivocally have nothing against a positive attitude. My only point is wishing and attitude won’t work in real pragmatic life. If it was so, Reagan could have prevented the 8 Million abortions during his term.
How about backing Congressman Hunter’s bill?

“So...whos left? Huckabee, thats who.”
Well, there is Ron Paul.
Ok, enough laughing, let’s get back to discussing serious issues.
“Also, I REALLY respect how he gave his endorsement. He told who he was choosing and why, but respectfully acknowledged that his supporters may choose someone else.”
I liked that also.
One thing I wanted to point out. He did not even make a comment on any named candidate from the dark side, just an overall comment.
Any bill which will save unnecessary carnage of life is worth backing, and so I am all for this bill.
Good, I'm glad we agree on something.
Does your boss support the bill?
Hes getting more coverage for endorsing Huckabee than he did for running himself.
You think it might be because the media is for Huckabee? The media would hardly mention Hunter’s name before he dropped out.
“I dont think the idea of not doing business with China is feasible.”
That would be great if it were the issue, but it is not the issue.
The issue is that Bain Capital wants to sell a company that deals in security to a company that is wholly owned by the Chinese Government. There is virtually no difference between this sale and the Loral group under Clinton.
