Can you give any reports from folks you know well?
Videos do not impress me when they are dark, far away and a 1.2-1.4MP camera phone is being used.
I am glad they are being provided by all who see lights and things, but until we have 3.0 - 5.0 MP cameras (Verizon Wireless just came out with a 3.0MP camera phone) there will be little more than specks of light. Hope is coming along with the technology, since I work within the realm that covers digital phones and cameras, I feel that better and better vids will be forthcoming as the technology is disseminated.
Until then, keep looking up in our big, wonderful Texas sky.

They claimed it was parachute flares because it was parachute flares.

A true flying alien craft wouldn’t advertise itself by using weird configurations of running lights...though I could see them using some type landing lights or headlights for running low to the ground or landing.

Pilots saw the VERY LARGE CRAFT at a different time than when whe flares were out.
DO THE HOMEWORK BEFORE pontificating so adamently!
One IIRC former military pilot asserted there was enough room on the SOLID CRAFT TO LAND his commercial jet. IIRC, he was looking down on the craft.
BTW, I have friends and relatives in Phoenix . . . No way I’ll accept the whole thing was flares.
Flares came out afterwards as a disinformation stunt imho.
That’s only because gas giants are massive enough to cause observable wobbles that our limited optics can observe. I think we’ll find a predictable pattern where gas giants exist in outer orbits with more rocky oxygen/nitrogen planets in the inner orbits.

If anything, being atypical helps minimize narrow biases that blind average folks from TYPE II ERROR hazards.
I’d guess that TYPE II ERROR hazards bite quite a lot of such folks in the butt when they can least afford it.

For those that have never experienced a sighting there is nothing you can say or do to convince them that they exist. For those of us who have experinced them it is very hard to try and explain them away when we know in our heart what we saw. I think of the Cash incident here in Huffman,the physical evidence produced and still the government denies it happened or tries to belittle and itimidate the victims.

Probably just outside the bounds of the USGS system of seismometers. Probably a manually placed event into their database, not automated.

They can pinpoint quakes in Siberia, Greenland, mid-ocean . . . quickly and reasonably accurately by various triangulations, IIRC.
