LOL!
did you actually see that “ despicable” movie? It happens to be a very good movie, albeit a tragedy.
“And the brokeback perverts love death...”
Judging by the thousands of replies on Heath threads, many of which were pulled, some resulting in zots, the “brokeback perverts” still have more class than a host of FReepers.
There are still some good folks here, but a growing number of FReepers simply disgust me. As I’ve stated before, I’ve made my share of “Brokeback” jokes. They were warranted. Gloating over some guy’s untimely death is not.
I know I’m typing to a brick wall. So many FReepers are delusionally convinced of their own moral superiority even while acting in terribly immoral ways. Hypocrisy, thy name is Free Republic.
exactly....it certainly didn’t paint a pretty picture of their homosexual relationship. Heath’s character “Ennis” states he had never “sinned” yet...and was drunk when the first incident occurred. Rather he was emotionally attached to Twist, and pained by the bond. Jack Twist on the other hand, was def trying to survive as a closeted gay.
Mary Kate did not discover the body. That is why am saying she isn’t the only one.
Why would I want to see that?
It is more socialist tripe whose sole purpose is the demise of western civilization in an effort to make way for collectivism.
Opiates can be taken in more ways than needle. Heroin can be snorted and smoked. He could have been doing pain pills as well.
too much $$$$$ and way too much time on their hands, so they go partying... then one thing leads to another then they get addicted. It really is sad that people around them don’t wise up.
usually guys smoke it if they want to avoid the needle.
If the post mortem comes up with opiates , then he was riding the white horse....
that's a bad habit, hard to quit. too bad for the guy. Seemed harmless enough and I liked him in the Knight's Tale.
The Post timeline (linked in the article) says the maid told Police Ledger was alive at 1:00 pm. He was snoring. He died sometime between then and 3:26 pm when the masseuse arrived.
Maybe she didn't know the number.
>> I coulda had Amy Winehouse. :-( <<
ANYONE coulda had Amy Winehouse, if they wanted... (eats, shoots and leaves.)
“My “People” will call your “People”....????
How about it. Bush’s press secretary calling him “a beloved actor”. I have this strange feeling of disconnecting.
This has nothig to do with drug use, but on the night that Nelson Rockefeller died (in the “saddle”, so to speak), his security people tried to clean up the scene before the NYPD arrived. Apparently, they put his pants on backwards...
An NYPD spokesman said that at no time was anyone alone with Ledger’s body. I have a hard tme believing that. I think Olsen’s security people, or the Masseuse, or both removed something incriminating from the room.
When one leads lead a very high-risk lifestyle, there’s always a price to pay.
Your rant is absurd! My quote “And the brokeback perverts love death... is making a statement of fact that has been proven by study after study. Just save the PC crap, it does fall on death ears.
wow....the movie has no socialist leanings whatsoever....and if you didn’t know this, homosexuals were routinely imprisoned by communist and fascist totalitarian states. The demise of western civilization is not dependent on “stories” or tragedies told. The demise will come when individual liberties are suppressed, including those that come with the right to tell a story, however tragic.
Communism depends on fostering a community of sameness, anything beyond the status quo must be stamped out...which is why they were among the most “intolerant” of states.
Brokeback Mountain is a tragic story, where no one found a happy ending. In that sense, every story told about adultery or sex outside of marriage, such as the “Scarlet Letter” would also bring about this demise you speak of.
Your description of Brokeback Mountain sounds like a homosexual “Same Time Next Year”.
