No, no, no, no, no! Duncan Hunter is the perfect conservative. Heck, Fred Thompson isn’t even the least bit conservative. pissant, AuntB and a number of other duncanistas assured us that was the case.<<

I think the story is that while this endorsement is sad, it doesn’t do any good to attack each other over it.

I just hope Fred doesn’t do a Huckabee endorsement too.

I can’t imagine Fred doing so, after how much he attacked Huckabee during his campaign.

In the list of unlikely things to happen, I’d be less surprised if Fred endorsed Romney than Fred endorsing Huckabee.

For ten months now, Hunter supporters have dissing Fred as “not a real conservative” and telling us that Duncan Hunter was the only *genuine* conservative in the race.

They ASSURED us that it was so!

Furthermore, those who didn’t just come right out and say so, strongly imnplied that Hunter was also MORALLY SUPERIOR to Fred Thompson.

Now the congressman from San Diego does a flip-flop off the high board!

LOL!

Oh, the irony!
