it’s actually not so shocking. Before deciding on Fred, I also considered Hunter. I didn’t just want to vote for Fred because of the polls and the big name.
But the real story was that Hunter was also a big nanny stater, loves pork spending and against free trade. He is for the fair tax. They think alike on many issues.

No, no, no, no, no! Duncan Hunter is the perfect conservative. Heck, Fred Thompson isn’t even the least bit conservative. pissant, AuntB and a number of other duncanistas assured us that was the case.
