Black anger grows as illegal immigrants transform urban neighborhoods.
Terry Anderson is angry. From his KRLA-AM radio perch in Los Angeles, the black talk-show host thunders, I have gone on the streets and talked to people at random here in the black community, and they all ask me the same question: Why are our politicians and leaders letting this happen?
Whats got Andersonmotto: If You Aint Mad, You Aint Payin Attentionso worked up isnt the Jena Six or nooses on Columbia University doorknobs; its the illegal immigrants who allegedly murdered three Newark college students last August. And when he excoriates politicians for letting this happen, hes directing his fire at Congressional Black Caucus members who support open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens. Massive illegal immigration has been devastating to my community, Anderson, a former auto mechanic and longtime South Central Los Angeles resident, tells listeners. Black Americans are hit the hardest.
Though blacks have long worried that the countrys growing foreign-born population, especially its swelling rolls of illegal immigrants, harmed their economic prospects, they have also followed their political leadership in backing liberal immigration policies. Now, however, as new waves of immigration inundate historically African-American neighborhoods, black opinion is hardening against the influx. We will not lay down and take this any longer, says Anderson. If hes right, it could upend the political calculus on immigration.

I’ll believe this when they stop supporting open borders/sanctuary city democrats.
Every AMERICAN (note the absence of a hyphen) has the right to be angry about illegal immmigration.
Well bully for him but I hope he had had as much “righteous indignation” about the drug-dealing thugs “in the hood” killing 2 year old babies in their cowardly drive-by shootings. Will the phenomenon of “black flight” be acceptable, while “white flight” was called racist, because people didn’t want to remain in communities with falling property values due to increased crime, vandalism, etc? is it OK now that the shoe is on the other foot? That will depend on which ethnic bloc the ‘Rat party considers more useful as voters, I think.
Of course, I agree with his basic premise, but it’s just too ironically gratifying for people to have a taste of their own medicine.
Just as affirmative action legislation (and judicial activism) advantaged white women at the expense of blacks, racial preferences in immigration policy is doing the same.
Well golly gee Beav, I'd love to invite you to take a look a the Republican party but alas, while liberals are lining their voting rolls, Republicans are lining their pockets...
Sorry African-Americans. Once Dems figure out that Latinos make up a bigger voting block, you will be second class citizens on their plantation.
It’s only a matter of time.
That’s right, EVERY AMERICAN should be angry, and it’s about freakin’ TIME that some who’ve been angry over non-issues start standing up and fighting the right fights.
Which will never happen. LBJ has the black vote sewn up FROM THE GRAVE.
Hmmm...
I wonder how well Hillary’s “Ich bin ein NEGRO!” speeches of late have gone over with him??
United Farm Workers say: VIVA HILLARY

It’s a real contradiction.
The Republicans ended slavery and fought for black rights for a hundred years, while Democrats established Jim Crow and the KKK. Then, in about five minutes, LBJ and the Left Wing Press managed to turn perceptions around and pretend that it was the Republicans who were historical bigots, and the black community bought it, hook, line, and sinker.
How did they do it? Well, it looks to me as if they bought off the black leadership, whom the Mayor of NYC refered to as Poverty Pimps, and the community was persuaded to go along with it.
I don’t think the average black shares the same values as Teddy Kennedy, Harry Reid, or Nancy Pelosi. Many of them are Baptists or Pentacostalists, and many of them are pro-life. But they have drunk the koolaid.
Will they finally wake up? Who knows. Certainly not if the Republicans continue to play “me too” with them, because they’ll never be able to do it as well as the Dems.
But this certainly illustrates my point that it isn’t just conservatives who oppose illegal amnesty. It’s also union workers, blacks, and ordinary people whose jobs are being taken away from them.
Right after they finish with the the Jena 6, the Duke LaCross team, and Howard Stern.
They have their priorities, you know.
LIBERALS
Hold that thought and ask Hitlery, Hussein or Breck Boy the next time they swing through.
Not too hard to figure. The Left has control of all popular culture, the Drive-By Media, and the academy. Since the Left specializes in persuasion through demonization and appealing to paranoia, it's a cinch.
AMEN!
Hymie-town Reverend JACKS-nnn once stated it was impossible for blacks to be prejudiced because they were in the minority.
The hypocrat party is imploding...blacks want Obama, has support of most blacks, including high profile Oprah, while the old guard remains loyal to the Klintoons, as that’s where the power (for them) has been.
Meanwhile the hispanics are supporting the Klintoons.
Using devisive race-baiting and class warfare has literllay come back to bite them square on the $^%!!!!
Well, the fact is that there will always be “racism”. The fact that black folks are constantly attacking anything white people say as “racist” is in and of itself, racist.
I’m sure there are white racists out there (I know there are, I’ve met a few of them, and they are losers and don’t speak for the majority of ANYONE)... but there are just as many black racists, IF NOT MORE.
I grew up in Detroit, and used to get into fights, BECAUSE I WAS WHITE. I didn’t start the fights, I’d get beat up or picked on because of my race. I started fighting back, and winning. Eventually they left me alone.
When I went into the service, one of my good friends was black. He and I got along fine and RACE never once came up in a conversation. One night he was visiting me over at my barracks and we were discussing going to a movie.
One of the “Bay Chiefs” came in (and for the record, I was a Bay Chief too) to my room and called him some names, which I personally took offense too, telling him to leave.
I explained that my friend wasn’t going anywhere, Black or NOT and I didn’t appreciate the “N” word being used. In short, the other fella wound up in the emergency ward that night from falling down the stairs a few times. Sad when accidents happen.
In all of the rest of my 26 years I never heard that word uttered again (except from one black male to another black male) and yet, the media consistently whined about “Racism in the military” - but I never saw it in my entire career. If it was there, it was hidden where people didn’t see it publicly.
So - my point is, they need to get off these idiotic tangents and get with the program - This is the United States of America and we’re all Americans.
If you watch the series “Gangland” from the history channel, they cover extensively how the latino gangs are literally “cleansing” their neighborhoods of anyone black.
In 2006 a young girl 14 was gunned down by mexican gangs.
The hatred rivals that of the KKK.
They receive orders to take out blacks who enter their turf,
rival gang, ma and pa taking a stroll ect.
The msn seems to ignore this disturbing and growing trend there and focus on these silly noose jena six crap.
These latino gangmembers are growing and more are coming in to take the place of those arrested,
if you don’t think illegal immigration is a hot issue after watching these, you never will.
“Though blacks have long worried that the countrys growing foreign-born population, especially its swelling rolls of illegal immigrants, HARMED THEIR ECONOMIC PROSPECTS...”
Life’s rough when two factions are vying for 100% of the gubment handouts.
Black Democrats have been gamed by the Democrat Party for the past 40 years. It's not easy to break such a life-long addiction.
