The earth is cooling. All is lost...
Cars are causing the cooling. Cars are causing the warming. Cars are causing the colling...
Power plants are cooling the planet. Power plants are warming the planet. Power plants are colling the panet...
Get the popcorn Mertyl. They’re at it again.
LOL, where did that colling come from? TWICE!!!!
cooling

An excellent summary!
My daughter has the “Ice Age” DVD so I have been forced to watch it many times. It’s still funny though even after at least a dozen viewings.
“Why do they call it the Ice Age”?
“BECAUSE OF ALL THE ICE”
I remember in the late 70’s, early 80’s that the “scientific community” was saying that increased levels of CO2 reflected solar radiation thereby cooling the planet. The solution...get rid of internal combustion engines, more mass transit, etc...are you surprised? Now we are told that increased CO2 results in higher temps but the “solution” is the same. This alone should make one wonder why opposite climate effects have the same answer. Socialists/Communists don’t want you to be able to travel freely without the heavy hand of government. The freedom to travel and relocate are anathema to the Left because it allows me more liberty.
Yes, it doesn’t seem to matter whether it’s warming or cooling,
the fault always lies with American capitalism and personal freedom to consume,
and the answer is always socialism and more control over what you consume.
This guy says the sun causes cooling and warming. Cars or the local star. Which seems more likely? (It's actually a bit more complicated than just the sun, the earth's orbit is also implicated in some of the longer period events.)
Actually that should read Pre 1984 cooling, Post 1984 warming. The late 70’s early 80’s were the heyday of the “coming ice age” mania. Particularly 1977, three books came out that year making the case for the coming ice age, I bought all of them. They actually were believable because the winters in the late 70’s and early 80’s were brutal here in the Midwest, blizzards, sub zero temps for weeks at a time, sub freezing temps for month at a time. We had weather here in Indianapolis the like of which we had never had and which I would just as soon not see again in my lifetime. I’ll pass on the -20 air temps and the -60 wind chills. That is just cold anyway you slice it:).
