He hasn’t. He will endorse the party’s eventual nominee. That’s the professional thing to do. He’ll also be invited to give a speech at the convention. The Romney people will even pay his hotel bill.

Well, I haven’t made a choiuce yet, now that he’s out. Read Carl Cameron’s column here, and it says his whole candidacy was to position himself for VEEP after all. that irritates

Several weeks ago comparable polls had Freepers supporting Ron Paul OVERWHELMINGLY.
One thing we all do well is Freep Polls.
I simply don't believe internet polls.
There's actually a secret groundswell of support for John Kasich here, but he's not running, so no one mentions it.

“Overwhelming support” is a bit much.
Try "No where else to go".

The Poll doesn’t list Ron Paul.
With all the talk about the mainstream media’s blackout of Duncan Hunter, seems Free Republic would do everything they could to at least MENTION all the Republican Candidates.

No matter what happens, I am not getting into bed with McCain. He has already screwed me and too many other Conservatives.
I am actually starting to like Mitt Romney. I hope he will be gentle.

The failure of the GOP at the national level and its massive failure in the state of California has given us few good choices within the GOP. Simply look at Arnold and McCain as state elected leaders and their future political office runs.

So, many Fred heads, at least in my opinion, will reevaluate the candidates left in the race.
I might, emphasize MIGHT, be able to hold my nose to vote for Romney.
Hw wouldn't be, and is not, my first choice. However, when the choices get down to bad and rotten a choice may need to be made, even if that choice is to switch to a different kind of food (voting third party or not voting at all).
I think a lot of Fred's supporters will throw in behind Romney as the lesser of evils.
For myself, I will reevaluate and decide at a later date.

I’ll be supporting Duncan Hunter but he has little chance due to MSM ignoring him (and him letting them!) No one is showing any leadership qualities on the “right” side.
Of everyone left, it appears that Romney will survive into September. Of the others, a Rooty McHuckleberry ticket might cause me to vote for Obama (if he is the nominee).
Yep, Obama.
At least we can live through another “general malaise” guided by an inexperienced legislator cum president. After which a true leader with an R may appear or...(dare I hope it?)...conservatives will “meet under an oak tree in downtown Jackson” once again.
