Great! So then if the Republicans don’t vote, the Dems win by default??? Not one of Rush’s better ideas.

I agree. Any of the RINO’s will be better than Hillary as President. Come election day I will vote for the R nominee. Any of the RINO’s running will pick better SCOTUS Judges than Hillary or Obama.

There are worse things than losing an election, such as having a Republican win who would work diligently to delegitimize conservatism.

Remember 1992 when Bush the Elder wasn't considered perfect enough by some and Clinton won the White House with less than 43% of the popular vote?

The "I will sit this one out or cast a protest vote" folks will make it deja vu all over again.

They win with Huckabee as well. He is compatible with most anything they want if they refrain from pushing abortion tơ hard. He is into government helping people. He is not into controlling the border or making the illegals go home.

Seeing as how all of our remaining primary candidates would fit right at home in the Democratic Primaries, I’d say the Democrats have already won.

OTOH, if we continue to support non-conservatives simply because they're not Dems, then the GOP has almost no chance of EVER getting back to where it belongs. That's a realistic point, that perhaps it's worth the pain of a loss in order to finally and unequivocally transmit the message to the GOP that we will no longer tolerate a GOP that can barely be distinguished from the Dems.

Then there's the argument (and a powerful one) that the time to make such a radical point is NOT when Hillary is the Dem nominee.

In any event, the GOP is in mortal danger. I have always believed that a Hillary nomination would turn EVERY Republican into a broken-glass Republican. I'm no longer certain about that. Conservatives are seriously fed up with the GOP's utter failure to uphold conservatism, govern with a spine, etc.

You arent listening. A non-conservative candidate might get all Republican votes but he might not get conservative votes. East-coast Republicans were happiest in the minority anywaays and would stick to the course if they were getting 10% of the popular vote

Gee... but it’s not any different IF we vote.

For if we vote for a Republican candidate, the liberals still win.
