I have yet to see signs, tv ads or hear anyone talk about Fred ‘at all’ in Florida yet. Romney is everywhere and so is Rudy. I wish Rudy were tougher on immigration, he’d get my vote.

I am trying to figure out the compelling reasons for Hillary, Obama, McCain, Rudy, Romney, and Huckabee. Seems the only reasons offered is they want to be president.

“Fred won’t be dropping out, at least not until after super tuesday, his website is still accepting donations. This article is RINO wishful thinking. Fred has plenty of money and Huckster is about to go down in flames. The next few weeks will be verrry interesting.”

Interesting this article is dated Jan 7th. Look at the chart at this link showing candidate funds as of Jan 7th. Where is the talk about Ron Paul and Huck dropping out because of not enough funds???

My choices are as follows.

Thompson
Fred Thompson
FDT
Fred

I will NOT vote for a RINO. I will not accept responsibility for our part tearing this republic to threads. Let the libs take over for four years and hopefully by then all of you “so called” conservatives pulling for these RINO’s will open your eyes. Conservatism is nothing that I will compromise.

I can hardly hand ONE Democrat for President.

And you are trying to saddle me with TWO?!!

Sorry.

Voting Conservative this year.

Is it just me or is the MSM making a point of picking our candidates for us?

I posted in mid December he hadn’t made his case. The performance in the primaries where he was making an effort showed this to be true.

Fred fans are projecting a lot on him that just isn’t there.

RINOs have had their choice, their "boy" at the top of the G.O.P. ticket for more than 24 straight frikkin years now. 5 Consecutive Presidential Races.

ENOUGH!

No compromise.

Voting Conservative this year, not for Democrat (D) or for Democrat (R). Simple as that.

If Hilary gets the Presidency, it is the fault of NOT ENOUGH CONSERVATIVES getting on board for the conservative choice, and being seduced into the false delusion and hope of supporting a Moderate and splitting the vote. They, if anyone, will be to blame.

What position of Romney’s sides with the Democrats?

The Dems are also. Hilde, Obama, and the Breck girl were predicting last night that McPain would be their opponent in the general election.

“The process for running for president has begun so early,” says GOP political strategist Charlie Gerow, “that if you are not in the game, you are not in the game ... and Fred Thompson was never in the game.”

Yep. ‘Walking for President’ was a novel idea thats failed.

Damn shame, but the simple fact is Fred Thompson never really demonstrated he actually wanted the job in the first place.

Romney’s “pandering” is a compelling reason to vote for him. He will listen to his voters.

Why do you think that?

What evidence is there to support the premise that Romney will govern to the right of W?

It’s time to make that case, because from my vantage point, if Fred leaves, then you’ll have your choice of liberals.

Let me also point out that when a right leans left, he’s a centrist. When a left leans left, they overreach.

We need Fred’s conservative leadership. If only in columns and on radio. He needs to be back on Paul Harvey, if he’s not elected. He can steer the movement in writings and commentary if anything.

Fred's website still "accepting donations" means nothing. Duncan Hunter's website is still accepting donations. These campaigns still have debts to pay. Leftover funds can be used for other political purposes. So, sure, they will be happy to accept your money.

Voting for McCain destroys what remains of our sovreignty!

I'd rather be waterboarded than vote for John McCain.

I’d rather not vote at all, than support Romney. Sorry. I’ll give it to Hillary so she can be the one to ruin the country, rather than let a person claiming to be a Republican and Conservative destroy it. Sorry. I won’t be voting for Romney.

I feel Mitt sees that W couldn’t get reelected because he tacked left. I sees a first term to the right of GWB to insure reelection. The second term would be a craps shoot.
