Down Morgan Hill way, snow isn’t all that rare in the hills to the east of town. I don’t recall exactly when it snowed last but it has happened more than a few times in the 10 years that I’v lived here.

We had snow in Mira Mesa on Valentine's Day. I think that was 1985. Pretty rare that close to the ocean in San Diego. Tonight we're going to be a -6 F in the Pocatello area. It's already at +2 F right now. There's a fire in the wood burning stove and I'm going to fire up the HD-DVD player shortly.
