Down Morgan Hill way, snow isn’t all that rare in the hills to the east of town. I don’t recall exactly when it snowed last but it has happened more than a few times in the 10 years that I’v lived here.

There was a bit on 17 at the summit a few years back as well.

Wife is trapped up on the summit right now. Could be a big snow fall up there tonight!

All the tallest hills in the SF Bay area got snow. It may be down to 1500 feet tonight.

We had snow in Mira Mesa on Valentine's Day. I think that was 1985. Pretty rare that close to the ocean in San Diego. Tonight we're going to be a -6 F in the Pocatello area. It's already at +2 F right now. There's a fire in the wood burning stove and I'm going to fire up the HD-DVD player shortly.
