Hillary Clinton said that if she became president, the federal government would take a more active role in the economy, in an effort to address what she said were the excesses of the market and the Bush administration.
She told the New York Times she would put her emphasis on issues like inequality and the role of institutions like government, rather than market forces, in addressing them.
She said that economic excesses -- including executive-pay packages she characterized as often "offensive" and "wrong" and a tax code that had become "so far out of whack" in favoring the wealthy -- were holding down middle-class living standards.

Yup. Hillary will promote government, cutting out the individual. Communism and socialism will flurish. This is apparently what Amerika thinks it wants now. America wants it free, and socialism and the government can give it too you free, so they say. Belly up to the free bar Amerika. Hillary and the Marxist are serving. Enjoy what very few freedoms you have left. She’s coming for the rest of them.
If she is actually elected President, we will have to start impeachment proceedings on inauguration day.
“Clinton promises end to economic suc(ex)cess”
Fixed it.
“So if someone is making more than HRCS deem necessary, and can afford luxury items (namely anything beyond essentials and MAYBE a one-week, MODEST vacation), they’re not fueling the economy. No, no, NO—their expenditures somehow go nowhere and do nothing.”
Just a minor correction since there is one exception to the rule of what ‘HRCS deem necessary’. The HRCS must, of course, be exempt from any standards of ‘necessary’ since their earnings are justified by the good they do. IOW, only those who produce wealth must be penalized. Those who ‘allocate’ wealth must be exempt.
Despite the fact that the same approach has NEVER worked, anywhere it has been tried. The market WILL work--it simply moves too fast for government to put into place "law-based" feedback rules. All the attempt(s) ever do is distort the market so it functions less effectively, and the national economy tanks---one way or another.
I very much worry that we are going to need all of the RAM/ROM you have available to catalogue this woman's predations.
She’s going to take capitalism away from us -— for the common good of course.
bttt
And she says this on roughly the same day that Chavez threatens to “nationalize” (read: socialize/communize) the milk industry unless they refuse to stop selling domestically.
Clinton is a communist.
It sounds like you and I have both argued with the same idiots. My condolences.
30 seconds political commercial # 2: Two men speaking in Russian (English subtitles) about Hillary Clinton communist statements, getting all excited that America will become communists under Hillary Clinton and wishing that the American people will vote for her. In the background pictures of Hillary Clinton next to the Soviet Union flag, Lenin, Karl Marx, and Frederick Engels with the anthem of the Soviet Union playing the background.
One could have just as easily credited these quotes to Castro or Chavez.
Communist beeyotch.
This woman is dangerous. She is the public face of her DhimmLib constituency. She well represents the wealthy elites who will never be negatively impacted by her plots and schemes.
This is but one telling example of her true colors.
Fascism, if you don’t know what it is, look it up.
Yes, the Clintons are fascist, the real deal.
