Thompson needs to exit stage left and get out of the way now. Putting him on as a VP is a bad idea if the Pubbies want to generate a VP into a President in eight years. If McInsane gets the nomination, look for Grham to be his VP choice. If Romney gets the nomination, look for Hunter to be his choice. In fact, if the Mittster would name Hunter now as his choice it might actually help him beat the Huckster and McInsane. If not Hunter, whom else would Romulan pick?
