Louella loves your choices of famous spoken lines from Memorable Movie Moments. "Houston, we have a problem" and "I vant to be alone" are very famous and, actually, very topical for today.
This is because both quotes describe the feelings of many freepers this afternoon when they heard that Fred pulled out of the race, LOL.
At any rate, these two magic movie quotes are unforgettable. They are ensconced in the American consciousness and in its jargon. They both will be there for a long time to come.
Thanks for participating.

Near the beginning of Dr. Strangelove. Mandrake: Operator, hold on one... ah... I shan't keep you a second. to Guano Colonel, that Coca-Cola machine, I want you to shoot the lock off it. There may be some change in there. Guano says, Guano: Okay but you're going to have to answer to the Coca-Cola Company for this.
Later on, same movie, the War Room after a plane didn't get the message. Muffley: I'm sorry too, Dimitri. I'm very sorry. Alright! You're sorrier than I am! But I am sorry as well. I am as sorry as you are, Dimitri. Don't say that you are more sorry than I am, because I am capable of being just as sorry as you are. So we're both sorry, alright?

Your two Memorable Movie Moments quotes both gave me a good laugh.....nay, loud guffaws!
I'm going to have to see Dr. Strangelove again. It's been umpty-nine years since I saw it.......it's one of those films in which you find new hidden gems every time you watch it.
TMC had "The African Queen" on tonight and of course, I watched it again. I never re-read a book, but classic movies I'll watch over and over. Can't get enough of that wonderful stuff!
Thanks for participating in this fund-raising contest. Good luck in the judging.

HeY waiting for da Boss to call...then ya’ll will have incoming.
King Vanity had a HUGE local GOP lifelong person come by the last few weeks for visit...we are homebound...and I can’t get him to settle down.
What the heck would we do without FR he reads right along as our screen is mounted up on the high wall.
Gosh If he was not a quad he would have left years ago and be serving in DC..LOL then ya’ll would be taking him to task..
Oh yeah I am a proud Mom..
