From your posting history I can tell you fear Romney becoming POTUS because of the threat you feel he is to your religion.
IMHO your fear is much less than you perceive it.
Pay no mind to the troll mathluv.
He’s full of himself (and other things) after his boorish performance here last week.
He’s stroking his own ego (among other things) by accusing me of calling in “backup”.
Just highlights how little he knows about me here on FR.
"Of course, her husband---as president---was considered a blessing by the black community and she was personally involved in the civil rights movement."
It wasn't emphasized, kind of a throw-away line. But there's a perfect example of how a campaign talking point seeps slowly into the reporting until---voila!---it becomes true!
Just as Hillary said we need to create more “green” jobs.
She would create fantasy jobs for people who have never created anything or contributed to the economy and pay them a salary for something that benefits nobody but leftists.
Ayn Rand must be spinning in her grave as she says “I told you so!”
That line of thinking grows from their deep seeded belief in Marx and Lenin and their own arrogant belief that they know what’s better for us than we do.
To include what we do with our money.
Get that Smarmy RINO @$$ off my TV!
Did you see him smirking as they were talking about the other candidates?
What will Mitt Romney do as a Mormon that he would not do as a Baptist, Catholic or Methodist?
Somehow I don't see him taking on a bunch more wives, what else are you afraid of?
Reflections on Romney’s appearance this morning....
Grow the economy, cut the bureacracy and move toward energy independence. He’s strong on all three, perhaps most with the first two.
Now, while the phrase “grow the economy” grates on my sensibilities, it does appear there is some danger ahead re the economy so I’m all ears re solutions.
Bill Clinton promised to cut the bureaucracy in ‘92 and did, to an extent. The bureaucracy seems to be a self-bloating organism by its nature, so I guess promising to cut it is always a good campaign point.
Current President Bush instituted an energy policy within months of being inaugurated in 2001. It was VP Cheney’s job to formulate same, many of which points Romney reiterated this morning. Have these measures been instituted or not?
In other words, I am hearing what has been promised before and wonder if those promises failed. This also leads me to wonder how much politicians actually accomplish when elected.
I get tired of hearing how we have certain problems that need to be fixed and yet, those problems persist over decades. Yet, somehow we survive.
Thoughts?
It’s like 1960 ll over again re: Mitt and his religon.
Only 48 years ago it was the fear that a certain Presidential candidate would take his marching orders from the Pope.
Those certain “problems” are the ones that the Democrat Party doesn’t want to EVER get fixed.
Because if they were fixed...then the Democrat Party would cease to exist as a viable political party.
Since her comment (when it is not shortened to DBM length) starts out by saying that John Kennedy could not get it done, but Lyndon Johnson could, because of Johnson's political experience.
Now, letting the world know that Hillary said something bad about Saint John the Kennedy should have more impact on liberals than a mere slap at Martin Luther King, shouldn't it?
I honestly don’t understand why Suzanne Malveaux continues to be on these programs. She is and has been a racist of the worst sort and her being on air just makes her views more credible when they are not.
Romney has publically stated that he believes that Jesus Christ was and is the Son of God. That makes him a Christian. So where’s the beef?
How about some outrage!
There's no point in outrage; this country will be in bankruptcy before all that money comes due. The National Debt will mever come due, because the magic money tree just keeps growing more all the time.
John Kennedy could not get it done because a leftist, socialist, communist killed him. Somehow Democrats don’t seem to understand what their side creates.
