Interesting commentary this morning from the Politico.com commentator on Fox&Friends.

He was going on about how the current combined results of the primaries/caucuses 'show the Republicans in disarray' as they cannot seem to find a desired candidate.

However, he summed up the Democrats, with 3 vying for the nomination and none the clear runaway leader at this point, "have 3 strong candidates."

==

No bias in his commentary -- if you have an IQ that is lower than the temperature in Kansas this morning.

CNN Tally January 20, 2008

Of course if the situations were reversed the commentary would be at how deep the Dem field is as opposed to how short the GOP bench is.

I have lost faith in fox news; they are nothing more than tabloid tv most of the time, and are becoming more and more like msm in their political coverage. They follow rather than lead now. I have emailed brit about it several times, but have never heard back from him.

CNN has been more balanced than FNC; MSNBC is still hate speech and lies — propagandists for the DNC. But FNC is losing me as a viewer more and more. Weekend’s of course are the worst, Greg Kelley (the Marine) is so liberal its disgusting.

I’ll still probably watch it more than the others, but my FNC watching time is shrinking fast.

Last night was a dark day for conservatism

This is true, jmy, but I haven't entirely given up.

If we get McCain as the nominee and whoever is on the other side, we will have essentially one party, the Government Party, where Government knows best and everyone had better just shut up and go along.

People who think McCain is a good choice because he will fight radical islamists had best realize that the amnesty he would shove down our throats would simply destroy the country from within.

If he actually believes in anthropogenic global warming, he is dumb. He isn't though, so the purpose of pushing that hoax is the desire for government control of as much of the private sector and of people's lives as possible. Horrifying.

SUNDAY MORNING TALK SHOW RATINGS ANALYSIS

Weekend of January 13, 2007
NBC MEET THE PRESS.... 5,345,000 (+454,000)
SYN CHRIS MATTHEWS....~2,800,000
CBS FACE THE NATION... 2,797,000 (-179,000)
ABC THIS WEEK......... 2,774,000 (-266,000)
FOX NEWS SUNDAY....... *,***,*** ( ***,***)
CNN LATE EDITION...... 631,000 (- 34,000)
This week's ratings were rather bizarrely reported. First, Nielsen didn't send the cable replay numbers so I have no idea who watched Fox News Sunday on FNC Sunday night. (The live broadcast garnered 1,325,000 viewers.) Second, while I didn't receive data for Fox I did get a rating for the Chris Matthews Show, which gets their ratings reported whenever NBC feels like it and that's usually only every 6 months or so when the show hits second place. Most of the shows lost viewers last week except for, without explanation, Meet the Press. It looks like a ratings blip so I'm not too concerned-- yet. I don't think MTP can sustain such viewership.

I hear you.

Sometimes I think we’ll have to go through some dark age before enough people realize the error in thier ways and start waking up.

Then I remember that far, far more people are aware of Brittany and her latest antics, OJ and his court appearances, and Paris Hilton’s latest arrest or sex video than of the politic future of this nation. And I shudder.

Jmy, a dark age is coming and it will be very, very DARK. Will we survive? Will the American dream that became reality in 1776 survive? Has it really been alive these past few decades? Since 1865? Since Wilson? Since FDR and the New Deal? Since LBJ’s Great Society? Each one of these have been a saber cut on our Constitution.

Come November, I will vote for whomever is the Republican nominee just to keep the dark age from crashing upon us in another Clinton administration. But it will continue to approach with a RINO in office, just not as abruptly.

So I too am very jaded after last night.

Politico was obviously created this election cycle in order to promote left wing bias.

Three Republicans and eleven Democrats on the Sunday Morning Talk Shows and no Fred Thompson. Now THAT’S fair and balanced!

No matter what the media or pundits say, I don’t believe McCain can win the nomination. Once Republicans start voting without independents or Democrats crossing the isle, McCain will quickly lose whatever lead he thinks he has.

Just my opinion.

I don’t believe McCain can win the nomination.

I also have my doubts about that. The dislike of him among conservatives is wide and deep.

I doubt you will.

I recall the Wallace interview of hClinton (via televideo). After it was over, Wallace turned to the panel. Brit was fawning over the hard questioning (yeh, right) Wallace did of Clinton and how well Clinton did in answering the questions.

It is obvious that FoxNews has turned to the left and many of their on-air personalities are not hiding their preferences for the Democratic party.

Last week, a memo was sent to all deskies (prompt-writers). Gist of it was Bill Clinton should ALWAYS be called former "President Clinton" while for the current occupant calling "President Bush" once is enough.(Reasoning they should not be cheer-leading) .

The memo was signed by Fox VP John Moody.

Agreed. I think he’ll suffer the same fate on Super Tuesday he did eight years ago.

I hope so. These “open primaries” help McCain a lot.

Morning AB and thanks for the thread as usual. Looks like the DBM is once again firmly in control of the Sunday morning shows. No changes there.

Just a few thoughts about the week behind.

Earlier I saw carl Luuubbsssdorrrfman from the Dallas DBM paper who typified exactly who runs the news and why.

The DNC issues chatting points and the DBM salutes. It was so obvious in his robot style chatting banter with only Hitllary and McCain getting the nod time after time, it was ludicrous after a while.

We(The New Media) are the counter and each year we get a little stronger. We didn't really over come the drive-bys this year with the poor showing from Fred who in all fairness got a very late start. Anyone who saw his speech last night on FNC has to admit he did everything but quit.

Worst of all was Duncan Hunter signing off yesterday. A blow for Democracy although he make have a huge place in a Mitt or Rudy adm. as it is beginning to look like. Can't believe I am saying all this but it really does look like the future, right now. Things can change,Fred is not completely out, but....I don't know.

One of the smartest things we can do over the next few weeks would be to expose McCain and the Huckster even more than we already have as faux conservatives and simply potus wannabes at anyone's expense, and we are on the list.

We need Thread after thread, link after link exposing McCain as we have done here for years. Simply exposing his deeds for the past 5 or 6 years will sink him quickly. People forget, or never were informed to begin with. We should remember that.

We can only hope that he falls. Why not a McCain/Clinton ticket? Now there would be a reason to move. The only problem is there’s no place to go.

Yes, they did. We may be looking back a month from now and wondering about the how’s, why’s and what’s of it all. McCain has momentum today but it can’t last.
