When McCain told his supporters last night, “I’ll always tell you the truth”, why did I immeditely recall that same promise from a pious Jimmah Carter? LOL

Interesting fact that came out of the Supreme Court Case last week about the Indiana Voter ID challenge: More than 41% of the names on the voter registration rolls in Indiana were inaccurate - dead or voters who had moved.
FORTY-ONE PERCENT!!! Almost half!!!

So much opportunity for fraud.

Ever since President Bush took office, serious effort has been addressed to fixing this nationwide slackness in voter rolls. We don’t need to guess how hard it has been to make the needed changes, and who has been obstructing the attempts at reform, do we!

Using tone and shape is what tv commentators use to promote a conclusion in the mind of the viewer. We must always be discriminating in our accpetance of their message.

Brilliant had to be repeated.!

Interesting. Thanks. CO has some real problems with our vote by mail program and we keep trying to make it work even though most people realize it’s not a good way to keep fraud out of politics.

I was refering to Romney’s evasive answer regarding lobbyist’s working for and contributing financially to his campaign.

I have 5-6 friends who own small businesses (<$10M), and none of them can afford nor will they support lobbyists, even through their trade organizations.

I dislike Dobb’s, but he may have been prophetic with that comment (at least in this election cycle).

CO is run by Democrats right now so the opposition to Real ID is keeping us from solving this problem. If it gets worse, maybe voters will do something. But I won’t hold my breath.

Your welcome. I really like the system. It means a lot less mail in ballots which can be checked. I HAD to show my drivers license. But as Rod says in the Miami area there are no rules. No rules about anything. The Cubans are prosperous and hard working but they do not believe in rules. Voting there is just one big fraud feast.

I did not think the MTP panel was very favorable to Mrs. Clinton. If anyone else listens, let me know what you think, please.

Same to me about the “My Friend” use. It smacks of the cynical, amoral collegiality of the Senate where form trumps substance every time.

Teddy Kennedy “My Friend”?? Only to those who accept compromise over Principal every time and who, after engaging in sham contests for the cameras and the pipples, get together to confirm the script for the next episode or compare speaking fees and pension benefits.

One thing to ponder is Fred remaining in SC handed the state to McCain. I wonder if that is true? How many of Fred’s votes would have broke to Huck?

The Romney=lobbyists is just the latest coordinated attack on him. This attack point started when a reporter challenged Romney on his association with a particular individual, claiming that a lobbyist was running his campaign. Romney replied to the reporter that his facts were wrong, and continued to name who were running his campaign. But once this kind of accusation gets floated, it becomes ‘truth’ and every other interviewer can use it to dig at the candidate, if digging is what the interviewer wants to do.

I thought the whole interview by Wallace was an attempt to diminish Romney - bringing up obcure facts about Massachusetts’ ranking in business development. A state crippled by bad management, and fleeing workforce before a Republican was brought in to attempt a rescue. After he got the state back into a surplus situation, they voted in another Democrat. Typical!

Duncan Hunter won a lot of debates, too. It doesn’t mean people watch them.

Yeah for sure, Had to take a break there for a moment to watch my friend Jose Wejebe on ESPN II on his show Spanish Fly.

Wejebe's "Spanish Fly" is the best of the bunch IMHO of the fishing shows.

The guy is just a natural!

In today's show Jose(we pronounce it hose) was thrown over the side of the boat after catching his first blue marlin (it was his 29th try)!

It was awesome tv and no one does fishing on tv any better than Wejebe. He's just a natural. When you interview hm on the radio he comes to the studio bare footed, he's the real McCoy.

“Does anyone have any confirmation of a statement made by hanity last night that 40% of the expected FL primary votes have ALREADY been cast?”

That has been going around other threads and I have asked the same thing. Where is the source for this? Just Sean?? If the state put out that 40% of all voters have voted, so what? Does not mean anything except 40% of voters had already made up there minds. Did they say 40% of registered Republican voters? I do know that interest in Fred is going well in all the calling I have made. None of the absentee ballot folks I have called here in Pinellas county said that they had already voted. Most said they were starting to look at the candidates and have not made up their minds.
GO FRED!

Even more evidence of media bias in words used: McCain SHIFTS his views on immigration while Romney FLIP FLOPS on his position on abortion.

I really do hate the media.
