Fred Heads be strong!
Fox News ^ | January 19th, 2008 | Carl Cameron

With the results unclear as to whether he comes in 3rd or 4th in S.C. Senator Thompson, thanked South Carolina supporters and said very little about his future. In recent days he has said he would return to Tenn.visit with his Mom and make a decision about his future. Parts of his remarks tonights referred to his candidacy in the past tense, but he issued forward looking challenges to the GOP on leadership and direction. If Huckabee comes up short, it could cause southern conservatives to give Fred another look and thus give him more reasons to stay in beyond the upcoming debates and explosion of state contests on 2/5.

I like Fred and what he stands for. Will Fred be able to broker a consensus of delegates at the convention at the rate he’s going now? He’ll need to be a heck of a lot more motivational and energenic than he is now.

You Wrote:”Vacuous statements devoid of even the pretense of rational discourse.” That is not a complete sentence smart guy. Why don’t you go put on your K-mart smoking jacket and get back the the MD 20/20 in your snifter.

The subject of the sentence was intentionally implied. You might want to go back to that government school you went to and demand your $19.95 back, I don’t think it took.

I certainly didn’t mean to sound pretentious, using them high falutin' words an’ all.

Well that’s a real zinger! I’m just grateful you didn’t get me with the “I’m rubber, you’re glue...” comeback.

(And I’m not saying the point about Kerry was made particularly well, although I’m not sure you have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out.)

I am sure Fred needs funds to get ads out in Florida. The donations for the past two hours (9:00-11:00PM) was $620. Not bad considering the play-off game and the red truck donation link not on the home page of Fred’s site. We will know more tomorrow but Fred is still in this race and will do well in Florida following the debate Thursday! GO FRED!

"No thanks."

Okay, so by choosing to not vote, you are prepared to cast a de facto vote for Her Thighness. In effect, you are prepared to allow Hillary to win the presidency because you dislike McCain, who needs every vote he can get to avoid her victory, because he isn't the candidate that you preferred in the primary.

By extension, that means that you are prepared to allow incalculable harm to come to our country because you refuse to support McCain...or Huckabee ... or Romney.

I'm sorry, too. I can't follow that logic.

You certainly do not sound pretentious in any way; especially referring to me going back to my “government” school. As opposed to what, your private school? I am not quite sure, but I believe most of you educated people in the country actually did attend public schools and I was not implying that you actually came off as pretentious, but rather, I was poking fun at your dime-store attempt to actually come across as a sophisticated intellectual.
