Tribute video for Congressman Duncan Hunter, who ended his candidacy for president today.
I for one, will not vote for another Republican candidate and part of the reason is people like you who think they are so cute and smart with all you glib and stupid comments.
I come from a generation, thank heavens, who is courteous and considers others feelings; but I will say this now for you and others.
Just shut up.
Amen, brother. That would make a great tagline, by the way. And his tag-team partner Huckabee would be even worse.
..it looks like Thompson is toast—it’s just a matter of time now
Unfortunately, that's pretty much a given anymore. You know, the ones I'm most disappointed in are most (not all) of the conservative talk radio hosts. While I didn't necessarily expect Rush, Hannity, Levin and others to formally endorse him, they could've, IMHO, done a LOT more to get his name out to their vast audiences.
Thank you! Duncan D. Hunter, the Marine who did three tours in the Middle East, for Congressman!
Yep, let’s send our money to him, rather than the RNC.
lol, re: the currency you will be sending the RNC.
I have tears in my eyes.
Maybe it needs messed up so bad we are forced to fix it. I’m tired of political bandaids.
This is the latest.

(CNN) Former Republican presidential candidate Duncan Hunter said Saturday he would not throw his weight behind another White House hopeful at this point, and would not reveal whether he would back any of his former opponents before the GOP convention this summer.
I want to see whos going to be strongest on maintaining a strong national defense, a secure border including a border fence, and meeting the challenges of an emerging China. I havent put a lot of thought into an endorsement, he said.
The conservative California congressman, who plans a press conference later this evening, said Saturday that he is abandoning his bid for his partys presidential nomination because results in Nevada suggested to him that theres not daylight in the campaign.
[snip]
On Saturday, he seemed satisfied with his decision to withdraw, saying that his campaign had been a great, worthwhile experience
a campaign that drove the issues.
How about a “last vestiges of conservatism” ping :)
No, Duncan Hunter is not going away. This I know.
That works for me.
I think your right. One way or another Duncan probably will stay in the background urging people with influence to get this country back on a more solid footing in the many areas he would as POTUS.
..he really did have the “right stuff”
“As to the naysayers on this thread, and all the other threads, this is your loss too, you are just too blind to see it. This is AMERICAS Loss!
I pray he is appointed to a position where he can do some good in the next administration, if, and that is a BIG IF at this point, its a Republican administration. The Rs have really shot themselves in the foot on this election.”
VERY well said!
Hunter would be the best at whatever position he does. One example - can you imagine how secure we would be if Hunter replaced Chertoff?
Here’s another tag line: “Huck no!”
And more than happy to use their POSTAGE PAID envelope to register my disgust with them. This time around I am also requesting they remove me from their mailing list.
I watched the video several times, so far. You did a terrific job!
My eyes teared up thinking of what we missed, but I know he will still be out there taking care of us.
Thank you Walter, Antoninus, ultra sonic, kevmo, et. al. and most especially pissant. You people were great, partly because Hunter is great.
See you around the board.
“He got votes. I think he needs some more name recognition and we havent seen the last of DH. My brother caucused in Nevada and I got the results before they were on tv. I will NEVER vote for John McCain. NEVER. Ive had to make too many phone calls to undo his work with Kennedy and Mel Martinez.”
Thanks for the update.
Rudy and McCain should really join the Democrat Party, rather than be the phonies that they are.
..we’ll keep fighting on for what is right...
