How does a guy who had to fire all his staffers and almost close up shop because he was out of cash, get to where he is tonight??? And how did Fred, who had this thing sown up before he officially announced, get to where he is tonight???
Somebody help me because my mind is about to explode!!!!McCain got a boost because the military success of the surge. He held on to his base of independents from 2000 and then picked up conservatives and vets who think he'd make a good CIC.
The more people go to know Fred, the less they liked him. That is the truth than few here at FR want to admit.

Yes in Massachusetts blind one where Mitt had the authority he preserved life and defend traditional marriage! Do not confuse what Laws were in place before Mitt was in office or what was mandatory and the things the legislative done over ride his veto!
I lived in Massachusetts. I saw Flip run in 1994. That's why I want nothing to do with him. He's an opportunistic fraud and will stick it to conservatives while pretending to be on our side. That's exactly what he did in Massachusetts as governor.
Vote for him at your peril. I want nothing to do with him.

Ok then smart guy. YOU explain it to us. I'll wait til you get permission from your stake president. What do you want to know? I am a former Mormon, now an Atheist.
The big difference between Mormons and Christians that I can see, is that Mormons believe that Christ is the Son of God, not God the Father himself. Mormons don't believe in the Catholic Nicaean Creed.

Yes, McKennedy is the worst of the bunch as Tancredo aptly said.....
But, if Fred endorses McKennedy we shall know he was not made of the Reaganesque stuff we had thought.
McCain /Feingold
Voted against Bush Tax cuts twice
Voted against the terror bill
No thanks.
Remember Fred endorsed him in 2000 and they are friends.

McCain is not high on my list, but Id still prefer him to Hillary if it came down to it.Bottom line: that's where I am also.
In the general election, I think he would represent an alternative to those so-called Independents who might otherwise vote for the Dem candidate. I wouldn't be happy, but voting for him would be the lesser of two distasteful alternatives.

I dunno man, when he was up there saying waterboarding and torture didn’t work, when it clearly does, thats when John lost me.
